1. About Daivavarna Marketplace Policies
Daivavarna is a curated multi-vendor Marketplace intended to connect Customers with approved Vendors, artisans, farmers, practitioners, Teachers, Service Providers, Hosts, Event Organizers, Employers, and other participants offering Products, Services, Accommodations, Events, Jobs, and other approved Marketplace offerings.
These Marketplace Policies form part of the rules governing use of Daivavarna.
Different policies may apply depending upon the type of Marketplace participant, the Product or Service involved, the category selected, the transaction and payment model, the location of the Vendor and Customer, and other relevant circumstances.
Customers and Vendors should review the policies applicable to their Marketplace activity.
2. General Vendor Terms and Seller Agreement
The General Vendor Terms and Seller Agreement establishes the principal contractual requirements applicable to Vendors participating in Daivavarna.
It addresses Vendor eligibility, verification, Vendor approval, category approval, Product and Service approval, Listing standards, pricing, orders, shipping, returns, payment processing, Vendor proceeds, payouts, taxes, Product safety, intellectual property, Customer information, Marketplace conduct, enforcement, suspension, termination, and other Vendor obligations.
3. Customer Terms and Conditions
The Customer Terms and Conditions governs Customers who browse, purchase, book, register for, participate in, or otherwise use Daivavarna Marketplace offerings.
Customers should review the Customer Terms and Conditions together with the other Marketplace Policies applicable to the Product, Service, booking, Event, Accommodation, or other activity involved.
4. Returns, Refunds and Cancellation Policy
The Returns, Refunds and Cancellation Policy explains Daivavarna’s rules concerning Product returns, refunds, order cancellations, Service cancellations, Event cancellations, Accommodation cancellations, custom Products, perishable Products, incorrect Products, damaged Products, unsafe Products, material misdescription, and other Customer remedies.
5. Shipping, Delivery, Local Pickup and International Orders Policy
The Shipping, Delivery, Local Pickup and International Orders Policy governs fulfillment through shipping, local delivery, local pickup, international shipping, customs, duties, import and export requirements, delivery problems, lost packages, damaged shipments, perishable Products, and related matters.
6. Fees and Vendor Payouts Policy
The Fees and Vendor Payouts Policy governs financial arrangements between Daivavarna and Vendors.
Depending upon the Marketplace category and applicable Vendor plan, Daivavarna may use different fee and payment structures, including percentage commissions, fixed fees, subscription fees, listing fees, Direct-Payment Services, Daivavarna-Assisted payment processing, payment-processing costs, refund adjustments, reserves, holds, chargebacks, Vendor proceeds, and payout eligibility.
Exact commercial rates may be stated separately in the applicable Fee Schedule, Vendor plan, or transaction terms.
7. Prohibited and Restricted Products, Services and Activities Policy
The Prohibited and Restricted Products, Services and Activities Policy identifies Products, Services, Listings, conduct, and Marketplace activities that are prohibited, restricted, subject to additional approval, or otherwise inconsistent with Daivavarna’s Marketplace standards.
This policy applies across all Marketplace categories.
8. Product Safety and Recall Policy
The Product Safety and Recall Policy establishes safety responsibilities applicable to physical Products sold through Daivavarna.
It addresses Product safety, warnings, labeling, testing, traceability, Customer safety reports, serious incidents, regulatory action, unsafe Products, Product suspension, recalls, Customer notifications, corrective action, and Vendor responsibility for Product safety.
9. Intellectual Property Policy
The Intellectual Property Policy governs intellectual-property matters involving copyright, trademarks, counterfeit Products, artwork, photographs, books, translations, commentaries, designs, traditional works, Vendor Content, Community Content, intellectual-property complaints, and other related matters.
10. Reviews and Community Content Policy
The Reviews and Community Content Policy governs Customer reviews, Vendor responses, testimonials, photographs, questions, discussions, and other Community Content.
It prohibits fake reviews, purchased reviews, review manipulation, review extortion, harassment, impersonation, spam, and other abusive Community Content practices.
11. Privacy Policy
The Privacy Policy explains how Personal Information may be collected, used, stored, shared, protected, and otherwise processed in connection with Daivavarna.
Customers, Vendors, Providers, Hosts, Organizers, Employers, and other Marketplace participants should review the Privacy Policy together with the policies applicable to their use of Daivavarna.
Supplemental Category Terms
12. About Supplemental Category Terms
Daivavarna is a curated Marketplace.
Different categories therefore have different eligibility, safety, authenticity, qualification, material, Product, Service, professional, and operational requirements.
The following Supplemental Category Terms apply in addition to the General Vendor Terms and Seller Agreement and other applicable Marketplace Policies.
A Vendor who participates in more than one category may be required to comply with multiple Supplemental Category Terms.
Approval in one category does not automatically authorize activity in another category.
13. Clothing & Textiles Supplemental Vendor Terms
The Clothing & Textiles Supplemental Vendor Terms govern Clothing & Textiles Products, including requirements concerning natural fibers, material composition, limited functional synthetic components, handloom and handwoven claims, silk, wool, dyes, sizing, custom Products, textile safety, and related matters.
14. Home & Living Supplemental Vendor Terms
The Home & Living Supplemental Vendor Terms govern qualifying household Products, including natural-material Products, cookware, kitchenware, furniture, home textiles, pottery, ceramics, wood, metal Products, food-contact Products, flame-use Products, and other Home & Living Products.
Electrical, electronic, rechargeable, plug-in, USB-powered, battery-powered, motorized, and similar powered Products remain restricted during Daivavarna’s initial launch as provided by applicable Marketplace Policies.
15. Deity Worship Supplemental Vendor Terms
The Deity Worship Supplemental Vendor Terms govern Products intended principally for worship, altar use, temple use, devotional use, or other sacred purposes.
They address sacred representations, devotional Products, altar textiles, puja utensils, lamps, incense accessories, flowers, garlands, natural materials, provenance, wildlife restrictions, and Product safety.
16. Sattvic Foods Supplemental Vendor Terms
The Sattvic Foods Supplemental Vendor Terms establish Daivavarna’s curated Sattvic Foods standard.
Products represented as Sattvic through Daivavarna must comply with the applicable ingredient, preparation, safety, labeling, and Product requirements.
These terms also govern food safety, ingredients, allergens, fermentation, dairy, prepared foods, farm-direct foods, spices, oils, flours, packaging, storage, delivery, traceability, and food claims.
17. Natural / Organic Farm Supplemental Vendor Terms
The Natural / Organic Farm Supplemental Vendor Terms govern Products and Vendors participating in Daivavarna’s Natural / Organic Farm category.
Daivavarna distinguishes between Natural or Traditional Farming and Certified Organic Farming.
A natural farm does not necessarily need formal organic certification merely to participate as a qualifying Natural Farm.
A Vendor must not, however, claim Certified Organic status unless the applicable certification actually exists.
These terms also address natural farming practices, fertility management, pest management, synthetic inputs, farm verification, agricultural claims, produce safety, traceability, farm-direct Products, seeds, international agricultural restrictions, and related matters.
18. Ayurveda Products Supplemental Vendor Terms
The Ayurveda Products Supplemental Vendor Terms govern approved Ayurveda Products, including commercial brands, traditional Products, small-scale Products, herbs, powders, oils, oral-care Products, body-use Products, ingredients, manufacturing, labeling, testing, health claims, heavy metals, contamination, traceability, and Product safety.
19. Ayurveda Practitioners Supplemental Vendor Terms
The Ayurveda Practitioners Supplemental Vendor Terms govern professional Ayurveda Practitioner Services.
Practitioners must possess credible qualifications, education, traditional training, lineage, clinical or professional experience, or another substantial basis appropriate to the Services offered.
Casual self-study alone is not sufficient for professional Ayurveda Practitioner approval.
These terms also address qualification verification, professional titles, scope of practice, health claims, Customer safety, privacy, professional conduct, and applicable licensing requirements.
20. Astrology Supplemental Vendor Terms
The Astrology Supplemental Vendor Terms govern professional Astrology and Jyotisha Services.
Professional Providers must possess credible traditional, lineage-based, formal, or substantial professional training appropriate to the Services offered.
Casual self-study, astrology software, generic automated reports, or AI-generated interpretations alone do not establish professional qualification.
These terms also prohibit guaranteed predictions, fear-based selling, fabricated curses, spiritual threats, coercive remedy sales, and other exploitative conduct.
21. Books Supplemental Vendor Terms
The Books Supplemental Vendor Terms govern Daivavarna’s curated bookstore.
Daivavarna’s Books category is intended as a curated Vedic, Dharmic, traditional, devotional, philosophical, cultural, and educational bookstore rather than an unrestricted general bookstore.
Books may be reviewed for Marketplace alignment, subject, editorial purpose, authenticity, copyright, edition, translation, publisher, and other relevant matters.
These terms also establish Daivavarna’s editorial approach concerning comparative philosophy, materialistic worldviews, Darwinian or evolutionary theories, traditional perspectives, critical works, and related subjects.
22. Classes & Teachers Supplemental Vendor Terms
The Classes & Teachers Supplemental Vendor Terms govern Teachers, Classes, courses, workshops, lectures, tutoring, traditional education, online Classes, in-person Classes, recorded courses, and educational programs.
Teachers should possess credible education, traditional instruction, lineage, substantial experience, professional practice, apprenticeship, or another appropriate basis for teaching the subject represented.
Casual self-study alone ordinarily does not qualify a person to teach specialized traditional subjects professionally through Daivavarna.
These terms also govern Class recording and require compliance with applicable participant-consent requirements.
23. Arts & Crafts Supplemental Vendor Terms
The Arts & Crafts Supplemental Vendor Terms govern genuine artisans, makers, workshops, cooperatives, and approved sellers of Arts & Crafts Products.
Use of tools or machinery does not automatically prevent a Product from being handmade.
However, Vendors must accurately describe the production process and may not disguise mass-produced resale as handmade, artisan-made, hand-painted, hand-carved, handwoven, village-made, or another misleading designation.
24. General Services Supplemental Vendor Terms
The General Services Supplemental Vendor Terms govern approved Service Providers offering Services such as tailoring, alterations, repairs, custom work, traditional crafts, household Services, design, community Services, and other approved work.
Services may operate under Direct-Payment or Daivavarna-assisted payment models depending upon the applicable Provider plan.
Regulated Services may require additional licenses, specialized category approval, or may be restricted.
25. Accommodations Supplemental Vendor Terms
The Accommodations Supplemental Vendor Terms govern Hosts offering approved private rooms, homes, devotional households, temple guest facilities, ashram stays, guesthouses, farm stays, retreat lodging, pilgrimage accommodations, and other temporary lodging.
Hosts remain responsible for property legality, licenses, permits, zoning, insurance, safety, cleanliness, guest privacy, booking, and applicable lodging requirements.
Daivavarna may support Direct Booking / Direct Payment and Daivavarna-assisted booking or payment models.
26. Events Supplemental Vendor Terms
The Events Supplemental Vendor Terms govern approved Events such as devotional programs, temple Events, festivals, cultural gatherings, traditional ceremonies, conferences, retreats, farm Events, community gatherings, performances, workshops, markets, and other approved Events.
These terms also govern Daivavarna’s Event Requirements / Services Needed functionality through which Event Organizers may seek approved Service Providers.
27. Jobs Supplemental Vendor Terms
The Jobs Supplemental Vendor Terms govern Daivavarna’s curated employment marketplace.
Approved Jobs may include farm work, temple and ashram work, artisan employment, Sattvic food roles, education, hospitality, Events, community organizations, publishing, traditional businesses, seasonal work, and ordinary support positions within aligned organizations.
Jobs principally connected with slaughter, meat processing, alcohol, tobacco, prohibited intoxicants, gambling, adult sexual activity, prohibited weapons, exploitative labor, or other activities materially inconsistent with Daivavarna’s Marketplace standards may be excluded.
Vendor Approval and Category Acceptance
28. Vendor Approval
Vendors may be subject to Daivavarna approval before receiving permission to sell Products or provide Services through the Marketplace.
Vendor registration alone does not guarantee selling privileges.
29. Category Approval
A Vendor may participate in more than one Marketplace category.
Daivavarna may approve or reject each category separately.
Approval in one category does not automatically authorize another category.
For example, approval to sell Ayurveda Products does not make the Vendor an approved Ayurveda Practitioner.
Approval to sell Astrology books does not make the Vendor an approved Astrologer.
Approval to teach Classes does not automatically authorize professional Practitioner Services.
Approval to operate an Accommodation does not automatically authorize Events or professional Services.
30. Product-Level or Service-Level Approval
Certain higher-risk Products or Services may require individual review even after the Vendor has received general Vendor approval and category approval.
This may particularly apply to Products or Services involving food, ingestibles, Ayurveda, body use, children, flame, food contact, wildlife materials, regulated plants, professional health Services, higher-risk physical activities, or other elevated risks.
31. Electrical and Electronic Products at Initial Launch
Unless Daivavarna expressly establishes an approved exception or future Product program, electrical, electronic, rechargeable, battery-powered, plug-in, USB-powered, motorized, illuminated, or similar powered Products are excluded from ordinary Marketplace Product sale during Daivavarna’s initial launch.
This restriction concerns Products being sold through Daivavarna and does not necessarily prohibit ordinary lawful electrical infrastructure or equipment used by Providers to perform Services, operate Accommodations, conduct Events, teach Classes, or carry out ordinary business activities.
32. Supplemental Category Terms Acceptance
A Vendor may be required to accept the Supplemental Category Terms applicable to a category before creating, editing, publishing, or offering Listings within that category.
33. Acceptance Per Category Terms Version
Daivavarna may record a Vendor’s acceptance of a particular Supplemental Category Terms version.
A Vendor will ordinarily be required to accept a particular current category-terms version once rather than separately accepting the identical version for every Product or Service listed in that category.
34. Electronic Acceptance Records
Daivavarna may maintain electronic acceptance information including Vendor identification, category, Category Terms Version, acceptance date, acceptance time, and other reasonable records concerning acceptance.
35. Updated Category Terms
If Daivavarna materially revises Supplemental Category Terms, a Vendor who previously accepted an earlier version may be required to review and accept the updated version before continuing to create, edit, publish, or offer Listings within the affected category.
Marketplace Standards
36. Multiple Policies May Apply
A single Listing, transaction, or Marketplace activity may be subject to more than one Daivavarna policy.
For example, an Ayurveda-related food Product may need to satisfy Ayurveda Products and Sattvic Foods requirements.
A farm-grown herb may involve Natural / Organic Farm and Ayurveda requirements.
A handmade devotional Product may involve Arts & Crafts and Deity Worship requirements.
A retreat may involve Events, Classes, Accommodations, Food, and Practitioner requirements.
37. Category Misclassification
Vendors shall not intentionally select an incorrect category in order to avoid qualification requirements, Product review, Service review, safety standards, ingredient requirements, professional verification, fees, or other Marketplace obligations.
Daivavarna may reclassify Listings where appropriate.
38. Applicable Law
All Marketplace participants remain responsible for complying with Applicable Law.
Daivavarna Marketplace approval does not eliminate responsibilities concerning business licensing, professional licensing, food regulation, Product regulation, tax obligations, employment laws, Accommodation laws, Event requirements, consumer protection, privacy, customs, import or export rules, or other legal obligations.
39. Marketplace Approval Is Not Government Approval
Daivavarna approval does not constitute governmental certification, licensing, inspection, professional qualification, Product approval, organic certification, medical approval, or legal authorization.
40. Marketplace Enforcement
Daivavarna may take reasonable action where Marketplace requirements are violated.
Depending upon the circumstances, action may include requesting information, correcting a Listing, rejecting a Listing, requiring additional review, temporarily suspending a Listing, removing a Listing, restricting a category, holding qualifying funds, issuing qualifying refunds, suspending Vendor privileges, or terminating Marketplace access.
41. Serious Violations
Daivavarna may take stronger or immediate action concerning serious matters including fraud, counterfeit Products, dangerous Products, false credentials, human trafficking, forced labor, sexual exploitation, serious Customer or worker safety risks, forged documentation, identity fraud, payment fraud, or other substantial violations.
42. Policy Changes
Daivavarna may modify Marketplace Policies as the Marketplace develops and as laws, categories, payment systems, safety standards, business models, Marketplace functionality, or operational requirements change.
Where appropriate, material changes may require renewed acceptance.
43. Conflicts Between Policies
Marketplace Policies should be read together.
Where a category-specific Supplemental Term establishes a more specific rule concerning a particular category, that specific requirement ordinarily supplements or governs the category-specific issue, subject to Applicable Law, the General Vendor Terms and Seller Agreement, and any expressly controlling Daivavarna rule.
44. Non-Waivable Rights
Nothing in these Marketplace Policies is intended to eliminate rights or obligations that Applicable Law does not permit the parties to waive.
45. Daivavarna’s Role
Daivavarna generally provides Marketplace functionality through which independent Customers, Vendors, Providers, Hosts, Organizers, Employers, and other participants may discover and transact with one another.
Except where expressly stated, Daivavarna is not the manufacturer of third-party Products, the Employer in third-party Job Listings, the Host of third-party Accommodations, the Organizer of third-party Events, the Practitioner providing third-party professional Services, or the Teacher providing third-party Classes.
Each applicable Vendor or Provider remains responsible for their own Products, Services, operations, representations, and legal compliance.
46. Accessibility of Marketplace Policies
Daivavarna intends to make applicable Marketplace Policies reasonably accessible through the website.
Users should review the current versions before engaging in Marketplace activity.

48. Acknowledgment
By using Daivavarna, Customers and Vendors acknowledge that Marketplace activity may be governed by multiple policies depending upon the nature of the transaction.
Vendors acknowledge that category approval, Product approval, Service approval, or Marketplace participation may be subject to additional requirements beyond the General Vendor Terms and Seller Agreement.
Vendors further acknowledge that Supplemental Category Terms form part of the Marketplace requirements applicable to Listings within those categories.
All Marketplace participants remain responsible for reviewing and complying with the policies applicable to their activities.
