About This Policy
Daivavarna is a curated multi-vendor Marketplace focused on traditional, devotional, natural, cultural, educational, agricultural, artisan, community, and related Products and Services. Daivavarna is not intended to operate as an unrestricted general-purpose marketplace.
This Prohibited and Restricted Products, Services and Activities Policy identifies Products, Services, Listings, transactions, and conduct that may not be offered through Daivavarna or that require additional review, documentation, approval, or category-specific compliance before being offered.
A Product or Service may be prohibited by Daivavarna even where its sale or provision may be lawful through another platform or channel. Marketplace eligibility depends not only upon legality but also upon Daivavarna’s category standards, safety requirements, curated purpose, Supplemental Category Terms, and operational capabilities.
Vendors remain solely responsible for ensuring that their Products, Services, Listings, advertising, fulfillment, and business activities comply with Applicable Law.
Approval of a Vendor, category, Product, or Service by Daivavarna does not constitute legal advice, regulatory approval, safety certification, professional licensing, or a representation that the Product or Service may lawfully be offered in every jurisdiction.
1. GENERAL ELIGIBILITY STANDARD
1.1 Compliance Required
A Vendor shall not list, sell, advertise, provide, facilitate, arrange, distribute, ship, or otherwise offer any Product or Service prohibited by Applicable Law, this Policy, another Marketplace Policy, or applicable Supplemental Category Terms.
1.2 Curated Marketplace Standard
Daivavarna may reject or remove a Product or Service that does not reasonably fit the purpose, standards, or approved categories of the Marketplace even where the Product or Service is otherwise lawful.
1.3 Uncertain Eligibility
Where the legality, safety, authenticity, regulatory status, origin, ingredients, composition, professional qualification, or Marketplace suitability of an offering cannot reasonably be established, Daivavarna may refuse publication or suspend the offering pending further review.
1.4 Vendor Responsibility
A Vendor shall not rely solely upon the fact that another marketplace, retailer, manufacturer, distributor, government, or third party permits a Product or Service.
Each Vendor remains responsible for independently ensuring compliance with requirements applicable to the Vendor’s own transaction.
2. PROHIBITED ILLEGAL PRODUCTS AND SERVICES
Products, Services, or activities whose sale, possession, distribution, shipment, import, export, manufacture, advertising, performance, or facilitation is unlawful are prohibited.
A Product that is lawful in one jurisdiction may nevertheless be prohibited from sale or shipment to another jurisdiction.
Vendors shall comply with applicable federal, state, provincial, local, national, international, customs, import, export, consumer-protection, licensing, safety, and other legal requirements.
3. STOLEN OR UNLAWFULLY OBTAINED PROPERTY
Stolen Products, unlawfully obtained goods, misappropriated property, property obtained through fraud, unlawfully removed cultural property, and Products that the Vendor does not have lawful authority to sell are prohibited.
A Vendor may be required to establish lawful ownership, acquisition, provenance, or authority to sell where reasonably requested.
4. COUNTERFEIT AND INAUTHENTIC PRODUCTS
Counterfeit Products are prohibited.
A Vendor shall not falsely represent a Product as manufactured, licensed, endorsed, certified, blessed, authorized, produced, or supplied by another person, brand, temple, institution, artisan, manufacturer, spiritual organization, or other source.
Unauthorized use of trademarks, labels, packaging, logos, certificates, seals, provenance documents, or other source identifiers may result in immediate Listing removal.
5. PIRATED AND UNAUTHORIZED CONTENT
Unauthorized copies or distributions of copyrighted books, recordings, films, photographs, artwork, digital files, courses, translations, publications, designs, music, software, or other protected content are prohibited.
Additional requirements are contained in the Daivavarna Intellectual Property Policy.
6. UNSAFE PRODUCTS
Products presenting an unreasonable risk of injury, poisoning, contamination, fire, electrical shock, structural failure, choking, burns, or other serious harm may be prohibited.
Daivavarna may suspend a Product immediately while investigating a credible safety concern.
A Product may remain prohibited even if no formal government recall has yet occurred where credible evidence indicates a serious unresolved safety risk.
7. RECALLED PRODUCTS
A Product subject to an applicable mandatory recall, sale prohibition, stop-sale notice, or comparable safety action shall not be offered through Daivavarna while the restriction remains applicable.
Voluntarily recalled Products may also be prohibited where the underlying safety issue remains unresolved.
Vendors must comply with the Product Safety and Recall Policy.
8. ELECTRICAL, ELECTRONIC AND BATTERY-POWERED PRODUCTS
8.1 Launch Restriction
At Daivavarna’s initial launch, electrical, electronic, rechargeable, plug-in, powered, or battery-operated Products are prohibited unless Daivavarna expressly establishes an exception or specialized approval program.
8.2 Examples
The restriction may include electrical appliances, powered kitchen equipment, electric lamps, battery-powered décor, powered devotional Products, rechargeable devices, electronic accessories, chargers, electrically heated Products, powered toys, and similar goods.
8.3 Reason for Restriction
The restriction is intended to reduce risks involving electrical shock, fire, overheating, wiring, chargers, battery failure, voltage incompatibility, plug standards, certification requirements, Product testing, children’s safety, and international electrical standards during the Marketplace’s initial operation.
8.4 Low-Voltage Products
A Product does not automatically become eligible merely because it is low voltage, USB-powered, rechargeable, handmade, or marketed as a traditional Product.
8.5 Future Approval
Daivavarna may later permit limited electrical Products subject to safety testing, certifications, technical documentation, Product category, country, manufacturer information, insurance, and other requirements.
9. FIREARMS, AMMUNITION AND WEAPONS
Firearms, ammunition, explosive weapons, unlawful weapons, and Products primarily designed to cause serious bodily injury are prohibited.
Daivavarna may also prohibit other dangerous weapons or weapon-like Products even where lawful to possess or sell elsewhere.
Traditional, ceremonial, agricultural, culinary, decorative, or cultural objects capable of causing injury may require individual review depending upon their design, marketing, intended purpose, and Applicable Law.
10. EXPLOSIVES AND DANGEROUS PYROTECHNICS
Explosives, explosive components, destructive devices, unsafe fireworks, detonators, and comparable dangerous materials are prohibited.
Traditional devotional Products involving lawful use of flame, such as certain diyas, candles, incense, or camphor-related Products, are not automatically treated as explosives but remain subject to Product safety and category-specific requirements.
11. ILLEGAL DRUGS AND RECREATIONAL INTOXICANTS
Illegal drugs, unlawfully controlled substances, recreational intoxicants prohibited by Daivavarna, and Products primarily marketed for unlawful or recreational intoxication are prohibited.
Daivavarna may maintain stricter standards than minimum legal requirements for substances inconsistent with its Marketplace purpose.
12. TOBACCO, NICOTINE AND VAPING PRODUCTS
Cigarettes, cigars, chewing tobacco, tobacco Products, nicotine vapes, nicotine delivery Products, nicotine pouches, and similar Products are prohibited.
13. ALCOHOL
Alcoholic beverages and Products sold primarily for intoxicating consumption are prohibited.
A specialized Product that contains alcohol solely as a processing ingredient, carrier, preservative, or solvent is not automatically eligible. Such Products may require category-specific review, ingredient disclosure, and compliance with Applicable Law.
14. PROHIBITED FOOD PRODUCTS
Products offered within Daivavarna’s Sattvic Foods category must comply with the Sattvic Foods Supplemental Terms.
The following are prohibited within that category:
Meat, poultry, fish, seafood, eggs, onion, garlic, mushrooms, alcoholic ingredients, intoxicants, caffeine, cacao, cocoa, chocolate, prohibited artificial preservatives, artificial colors, artificial flavors, animal-derived gelatin, animal-derived rennet, and other ingredients prohibited by the applicable Supplemental Terms.
A Product may not evade these restrictions merely by being placed in another food subcategory.
15. SATTVIC FOOD MISREPRESENTATION
A Vendor shall not describe a Product as “Sattvic,” “Daivavarna Sattvic,” or otherwise eligible for the Sattvic Foods category where the Product contains prohibited ingredients or materially fails to meet the applicable category standard.
Ingredients must be disclosed sufficiently to allow reasonable evaluation.
Hidden flavoring mixtures, compound ingredients, seasoning blends, processing aids, or other components may require additional disclosure where necessary to determine eligibility.
16. FOOD SAFETY AND CONTAMINATED FOOD
Food Products that are adulterated, contaminated, spoiled, unlawfully prepared, dangerously stored, materially mislabeled, or otherwise unsafe are prohibited.
Vendors must comply with applicable food-production, preparation, licensing, labeling, allergen, storage, temperature-control, sanitation, packaging, and shipping requirements.
17. FARM PRODUCTS AND AGRICULTURAL INPUTS
Products represented as naturally farmed, organically farmed, traditionally farmed, or otherwise produced under Daivavarna’s Natural or Organic Farm category must comply with applicable Supplemental Terms.
A Vendor shall not falsely represent conventional farming practices as natural or organic.
Synthetic pesticides, herbicides, fungicides, fertilizers, fumigants, artificial ripening agents, or other agricultural inputs prohibited under the applicable category terms may not be represented as compliant natural-farming inputs.
18. FALSE ORGANIC CLAIMS
A Vendor shall not claim that a Product is “certified organic” unless the Product actually holds the certification required to support that representation.
Daivavarna may distinguish between certified organic farming and non-certified natural or traditional farming.
A genuinely natural farm does not automatically become “certified organic” merely because synthetic inputs are avoided.
19. UNSAFE OR UNLAWFUL AYURVEDA PRODUCTS
Ayurveda Products containing unlawful substances, prohibited medicinal ingredients, dangerous contaminants, unsafe levels of heavy metals, undeclared substances, adulterants, or other unsafe materials are prohibited.
Products posing elevated safety or regulatory risk may require Product-level approval before publication.
20. AYURVEDA INGREDIENT DISCLOSURE
Ayurveda Vendors must provide sufficiently complete ingredient information where applicable.
A Vendor shall not intentionally conceal ingredients, active components, allergens, heavy-metal content, pharmaceutical substances, or other material information relevant to Product safety or legal compliance.
21. FALSE MEDICAL OR HEALTH CLAIMS
Listings shall not contain unlawful or materially deceptive claims that a Product or Service cures, treats, prevents, diagnoses, or guarantees an outcome for a disease or health condition where such a claim is not legally permitted and properly supported.
Statements such as guaranteed cure, permanent cure, guaranteed infertility reversal, guaranteed cancer treatment, guaranteed diabetes reversal, guaranteed psychiatric treatment, or similar unsupported health representations may be prohibited.
Traditional-use descriptions may be permitted where lawful and appropriately presented without deceptive medical guarantees.
22. PRESCRIPTION, CONTROLLED OR RESTRICTED MEDICINES
Prescription-only Products, controlled medicines, or other restricted medical Products may not be sold unless Daivavarna expressly permits the category and all applicable legal, licensing, prescribing, dispensing, and distribution requirements are satisfied.
Daivavarna may prohibit such Products entirely even where a Vendor is separately licensed to supply them elsewhere.
23. BODY-USE, COSMETIC AND PERSONAL-CARE PRODUCTS
Body-use, topical, herbal, cosmetic-like, oral-care, personal-care, and similar Products must be safe, appropriately labeled, and lawful for their intended use.
Products containing unlawful ingredients, unsafe contaminants, materially false claims, or undisclosed components may be prohibited.
Daivavarna may require enhanced review of such Products.
24. CHILDREN’S PRODUCTS
Products intended for infants or children may require additional safety review.
Products that fail applicable testing, labeling, small-parts, chemical, flammability, structural, choking, strangulation, entrapment, sharp-edge, battery, or other child-safety requirements are prohibited.
Daivavarna may prohibit certain children’s Products during initial operation even where they could theoretically be sold subject to additional compliance.
25. PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATION MISREPRESENTATION
A person shall not falsely present themselves as a qualified Ayurvedic practitioner, astrologer, Teacher, medical professional, therapist, lawyer, accountant, engineer, licensed professional, spiritual authority, or other credentialed Provider.
Where Daivavarna requires qualification verification for a category, unsupported self-declaration is insufficient.
26. AYURVEDA PRACTITIONER REQUIREMENTS
Providers offering Ayurveda practitioner Services must satisfy the qualification, verification, professional-conduct, scope-of-service, and other requirements established in the applicable Supplemental Category Terms.
Casual personal study alone may not qualify a person to be listed as an Ayurveda practitioner on Daivavarna.
27. ASTROLOGY PROVIDER REQUIREMENTS
Astrology Providers must satisfy the training, qualification, lineage, professional experience, or other requirements established by Daivavarna.
Casual self-study alone may be insufficient where the Marketplace requires verified professional or traditional training.
28. FRAUDULENT ASTROLOGY OR SPIRITUAL SERVICES
The following conduct is prohibited:
Fabricated guarantees of future outcomes; guaranteed marriage, wealth, pregnancy, immigration, employment, healing, or other results; fabricated claims that a Customer is cursed or in immediate spiritual danger; threats of harm unless additional payment is made; fear-based coercion; demands for urgent repeated payments based upon fabricated emergencies; or other fraudulent spiritual or astrological practices.
Traditional spiritual or astrological guidance may be offered where permitted by category terms without deceptive guarantees or coercion.
29. CLASSES AND TEACHER QUALIFICATIONS
Teachers offering Classes through Daivavarna must meet applicable category standards.
A person may not materially misrepresent qualifications, lineage, formal education, traditional training, teaching experience, accreditation, or institutional affiliation.
Where Daivavarna requires credible traditional, formal, or lineage-based training, casual self-study alone is insufficient.
30. UNAUTHORIZED CLASS RECORDING
Teachers, students, Hosts, or other participants shall not record, distribute, publish, or commercially reuse Classes in violation of the Teacher’s rights, participant consent requirements, or Applicable Law.
Recording policies must comply with the applicable Classes Supplemental Terms.
31. GENERAL SERVICES
Service Providers must accurately describe their qualifications, scope of work, pricing, limitations, availability, and material conditions.
A Provider shall not offer Services that the Provider is legally prohibited or professionally unqualified to perform.
32. REGULATED PROFESSIONAL SERVICES
Medical, legal, financial, immigration, engineering, mental-health, therapeutic, or other regulated professional Services may require licensing or authorization.
A Daivavarna Listing does not confer a professional license or expand a Provider’s legal scope of practice.
33. ACCOMMODATIONS
Accommodation Listings must represent real, lawfully offered properties or spaces.
A Host shall not list a property the Host has no right to offer, intentionally conceal serious safety or habitability issues, use materially false photographs, misrepresent location, or fabricate amenities.
Applicable Host and Accommodation Supplemental Terms also apply.
34. EVENTS
Event Listings must describe genuine Events.
Fraudulent Events, fake ticket sales, Events principally facilitating prohibited activity, intentionally deceptive venue representations, or Listings for Events that the Organizer has no authority to conduct are prohibited.
Event Organizers remain responsible for safety, permits, venue compliance, insurance where applicable, and Applicable Law.
35. JOBS AND EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES
Daivavarna’s Jobs category is curated and is not intended to function as an unrestricted general corporate employment board.
Eligible Jobs should reasonably align with Daivavarna’s traditional, devotional, agricultural, educational, artisan, cultural, natural-living, community, or related Marketplace purposes.
36. PROHIBITED JOB ACTIVITIES
Job Listings principally involving the following may be prohibited:
Animal slaughter, butchering, meat processing, alcohol production or sales, tobacco or nicotine businesses, gambling, sexually explicit businesses, unlawful weapons businesses, exploitative labor, human trafficking, or unrelated mass-industrial activity inconsistent with the curated Jobs category.
Support roles at otherwise aligned organizations may be individually evaluated based upon the actual nature of the employment.
37. EMPLOYMENT EXPLOITATION
Jobs involving forced labor, trafficking, unlawful child labor, confiscation of passports or identity documents, unlawful withholding of wages, coercive recruitment fees, deceptive employment terms, or similar exploitation are prohibited.
38. UNLAWFUL DISCRIMINATION IN JOB LISTINGS
Job Listings must comply with Applicable Law concerning employment discrimination.
Religious, devotional, or cultural organizations may describe the genuine environment or mission of the organization and may apply lawful role-specific requirements only where permitted by Applicable Law.
39. GAMBLING AND WAGERING
Gambling Services, betting, unlawful lotteries, wagering businesses, gambling devices, and opportunities principally dependent upon wagering are prohibited.
40. SEXUALLY EXPLICIT PRODUCTS AND SERVICES
Pornographic Products, sexually explicit commercial media, prostitution, sexual Services, adult sexual entertainment, and comparable offerings inconsistent with the purpose of Daivavarna are prohibited.
41. HUMAN TRAFFICKING AND EXPLOITATION
Products, Services, employment arrangements, accommodations, Events, or other Marketplace activity involving human trafficking, sexual exploitation, forced labor, coercion, abuse, or unlawful exploitation are prohibited.
42. HATEFUL, TERRORIST OR VIOLENT EXTREMIST MATERIAL
Products or Services whose principal purpose is to promote terrorist organizations, unlawful violence, violent extremist organizations, or targeted hateful violence may be prohibited.
This provision does not prohibit legitimate historical, academic, journalistic, religious, documentary, comparative, or critical discussion merely because it references such subjects.
43. WILDLIFE AND ENVIRONMENTAL CONTRABAND
Products made from unlawfully obtained wildlife, endangered or protected species, illegal ivory, unlawfully sourced feathers, skins, horns, shells, coral, protected plants, protected woods, or other environmental contraband are prohibited.
Where material may be regulated, the Vendor may be required to establish lawful origin and legal eligibility.
Daivavarna may prohibit an animal- or wildlife-derived Product where legality cannot reasonably be established.
44. SACRED, CULTURAL AND ARCHAEOLOGICAL PROPERTY
Stolen temple property, unlawfully removed sacred objects, stolen cultural heritage objects, archaeological contraband, or Products unlawfully removed from protected places are prohibited.
A Vendor may be required to provide reasonable provenance evidence for Products claimed to possess unusual historical, religious, archaeological, or institutional significance.
45. FALSE SACRED OR RELIGIOUS PROVENANCE
A Vendor shall not falsely claim that a Product:
was blessed by a spiritual authority;
was used in a temple or place of worship;
was offered to a Deity;
came from a particular temple, ashram, sacred location, or pilgrimage site;
was made by a particular religious institution;
was consecrated;
or possesses another specific sacred provenance where the Vendor lacks a reasonable factual basis for the claim.
46. DEITY WORSHIP PRODUCTS
Deity worship and devotional Products must comply with applicable Supplemental Terms concerning materials, authenticity, fire safety, wildlife materials, sacred representations, and other relevant requirements.
Electrical or battery-powered devotional Products remain prohibited at launch under the general electrical restriction.
47. HAZARDOUS CHEMICALS AND TOXINS
Highly hazardous chemicals, unlawful poisons, dangerous pesticides, toxic substances, dangerous chemical precursors, and Products presenting unreasonable chemical risk are prohibited.
Ordinary lawful household, agricultural, artistic, or traditional materials may still be subject to category-specific safety requirements.
48. FALSE NATURAL, NON-TOXIC OR ENVIRONMENTAL CLAIMS
Claims such as “natural,” “non-toxic,” “chemical-free,” “eco-friendly,” “biodegradable,” “sustainable,” “plastic-free,” “zero-waste,” “organic,” or similar environmental or health-related representations must be truthful and not materially misleading.
Where a certification is claimed, the Vendor must possess a reasonable basis for that certification claim.
49. NATURAL-MATERIAL CATEGORY REQUIREMENTS
Certain Daivavarna categories prioritize natural, traditional, plant-derived, animal-derived, mineral, ceramic, wood, metal, or other approved materials.
A Product containing limited synthetic material for a legitimate functional purpose may be eligible where permitted by applicable Supplemental Terms.
A Product whose principal or majority material is inconsistent with a category’s natural-material standard may be rejected.
50. CLOTHING AND TEXTILES
Clothing and Textile Products must comply with applicable natural-fiber and material requirements.
Plant and animal fibers may be permitted.
Limited synthetic material may be accepted where reasonably necessary for functionality, structure, elasticity, stitching, reinforcement, or another legitimate purpose.
Petroleum-derived synthetic material should not constitute the principal or majority material where the applicable category standard requires predominantly natural construction.
51. HOME AND LIVING PRODUCTS
Products in Home and Living should comply with applicable natural-material and traditional-living standards.
Limited synthetic components may be permitted where functionally necessary, but the principal or majority construction should satisfy the applicable category standard.
Electrical, electronic, rechargeable, and battery-powered Home and Living Products are prohibited at launch unless expressly approved.
52. MISREPRESENTED HANDMADE OR ARTISAN GOODS
Mass-produced Products shall not be represented as handmade, hand-carved, handwoven, hand-painted, hand-forged, artisan-made, personally crafted, or traditionally made where the representation is materially false.
The legitimate use of tools, machinery, assistants, or workshop processes does not necessarily prevent a Product from being considered handmade where the description accurately reflects how the Product was produced.
53. RESALE MISREPRESENTED AS HANDMADE
A Vendor shall not purchase mass-produced Products from a third party and falsely claim personal manufacture.
Commercial or resale Products may be permitted only where the relevant category permits them and the Listing accurately describes their origin.
54. BOOKS AND PUBLISHED MATERIALS
54.1 Curated Bookstore Standard
Daivavarna’s Books category is intended to function as a curated traditional, Vedic, devotional, philosophical, cultural, historical, natural-living, educational, or related bookstore rather than a general unrestricted bookstore.
54.2 Editorial Eligibility
Daivavarna may decline publications whose principal purpose is materially inconsistent with the curated purpose of the Books category.
54.3 Materialistic Worldviews
Books whose principal purpose is to promote materialistic worldviews fundamentally inconsistent with Daivavarna’s Vedic or traditional editorial purpose may be excluded from the Books category.
54.4 Evolutionary Theory Example
A publication whose principal purpose is to advocate Darwinian evolutionary theory may be outside the curated scope of the Books category.
A publication discussing, comparing, critiquing, analyzing, or responding to evolutionary theory from a Vedic, traditional, philosophical, historical, or comparative perspective may be eligible.
54.5 Historical and Academic Discussion
The existence of discussion concerning a worldview that would not independently qualify for promotion does not automatically make a historical, comparative, critical, or scholarly work ineligible.
54.6 Pirated Books
Pirated, counterfeit, unlawfully reproduced, or unauthorized editions are prohibited regardless of subject matter.
55. FALSE CERTIFICATIONS AND APPROVALS
A Vendor shall not falsely claim:
government approval;
laboratory testing;
organic certification;
professional licensing;
safety certification;
environmental certification;
fair-trade certification;
religious or temple authorization;
manufacturer authorization;
country-of-origin certification;
or another status that the Vendor or Product does not actually possess.
56. DECEPTIVE LISTINGS
Materially deceptive Listings are prohibited.
Examples include false Product origin, fabricated reviews, false scarcity, fake discounts, false before-and-after representations, deceptive photographs, false qualifications, fabricated inventory, false delivery locations, or materially inaccurate ingredient information.
57. MISLEADING PHOTOGRAPHS
Listing photographs should reasonably represent the Product or Service being offered.
A Vendor shall not use materially misleading images that cause Customers to reasonably believe they are purchasing a different Product, quantity, size, quality, material, condition, location, or Service.
Reasonable illustrative images may be used where clearly identified as such.
58. SHAM TRANSACTIONS
Transactions created primarily to launder money, transfer unrelated funds, manipulate reviews, manufacture Marketplace history, evade fees, conceal beneficial ownership, or otherwise create fictitious commercial activity are prohibited.
59. FEE CIRCUMVENTION
A Vendor shall not manipulate Listing prices, transaction structures, categories, payment arrangements, communications, accounts, or other Marketplace functionality for the primary purpose of unlawfully or deceptively avoiding legitimate Daivavarna fees.
Where Daivavarna expressly permits Direct-Payment Services or another approved payment model, proper use of that model is not fee circumvention.
60. PAYMENT ABUSE AND MONEY LAUNDERING
Daivavarna shall not be used to facilitate money laundering, terrorist financing, payment fraud, stolen payment instruments, unauthorized transfers, or other illicit financial activity.
Daivavarna or its payment providers may delay, refuse, investigate, or report transactions as permitted or required by Applicable Law.
61. ACCOUNT EVASION
A User whose Marketplace privileges have been suspended, restricted, or terminated shall not create another account, use another person’s identity, control another Vendor account, or otherwise evade Marketplace enforcement.
62. FALSE IDENTITY AND IMPERSONATION
Users shall not impersonate another person, Vendor, practitioner, Teacher, Host, Employer, temple, ashram, organization, manufacturer, artisan, business, or institution.
Users must provide truthful identity and business information where requested.
63. HARASSMENT, THREATS AND EXTORTION
Serious harassment, threats, stalking, intimidation, doxxing, extortion, coercion, retaliation, or attempts to obtain money through threats are prohibited.
Marketplace disputes must be handled through lawful and appropriate communication.
64. MISUSE OF CUSTOMER INFORMATION
Customer Personal Information may be used only as reasonably necessary for legitimate Marketplace transactions and other lawful purposes permitted by Daivavarna’s Privacy Policy and applicable agreements.
Vendors shall not sell Customer information, publicly disclose it, use it for unrelated mass marketing, or otherwise misuse it.
65. SPAM AND UNSOLICITED SOLICITATION
Marketplace messaging, Customer contact information, reviews, or other Marketplace tools shall not be used primarily for unrelated spam, scams, mass solicitation, deceptive promotions, or unwanted commercial communication.
66. REVIEW MANIPULATION
Fake reviews, purchased reviews, undisclosed insider reviews, reciprocal review schemes, coercive review requests, and other review manipulation are prohibited.
The Reviews and Community Content Policy provides additional requirements.
67. CATEGORY MISCLASSIFICATION
A Vendor shall not intentionally place a Product or Service in an incorrect category to evade category requirements, qualification review, Product approval, fees, prohibited-product rules, or Supplemental Category Terms.
Daivavarna may reclassify, suspend, or remove improperly categorized Listings.
68. PRODUCT-LEVEL APPROVAL
Approval of a Vendor and category does not guarantee that every Product submitted by that Vendor will be approved.
Daivavarna may require individual Product review for higher-risk items, including food, ingestibles, Ayurveda Products, body-use Products, children’s Products, Products involving flame, regulated natural materials, or other Products presenting increased legal or safety risk.
69. INFORMATION DAIVAVARNA MAY REQUEST
To determine Product or Service eligibility, Daivavarna may request reasonable documentation, including:
supplier invoices;
ingredient lists;
Product photographs;
manufacturer information;
country-of-origin information;
laboratory reports;
safety reports;
licenses;
professional qualifications;
certificates;
insurance information;
farm information;
production methods;
authorization letters;
provenance records;
or other documentation reasonably related to compliance.
70. DUTY TO PROVIDE ACCURATE INFORMATION
A Vendor shall not knowingly provide altered, fabricated, expired, forged, misleading, or materially incomplete documentation in response to a Daivavarna compliance request.
Submission of fraudulent evidence may result in immediate suspension or termination.
71. COUNTRY-SPECIFIC RESTRICTIONS
Daivavarna may restrict Products or Services by country, state, province, territory, locality, or other jurisdiction.
A Product eligible for domestic sale may still be prohibited from international shipment.
Vendors must comply with applicable import and export requirements under the Shipping, Delivery, Local Pickup and International Orders Policy.
72. MARKETPLACE PREAPPROVAL
Daivavarna may designate specific categories, Product types, Services, or claims as requiring prior written or dashboard-based approval before publication.
A Vendor shall not treat a prior approval of a different Product as approval of every similar Product.
73. REMOVAL PENDING INVESTIGATION
Daivavarna may temporarily remove, disable, hide, or suspend a Listing while investigating suspected violations.
Temporary removal does not necessarily constitute a final finding against the Vendor.
74. CUSTOMER REPORTS
Customers and other Marketplace participants may report Products, Services, Listings, or conduct they reasonably believe violate Marketplace Policies.
Daivavarna may investigate such reports but is not obligated to accept every allegation as accurate.
75. GOVERNMENT OR REGULATORY REQUESTS
Daivavarna may restrict Products, preserve relevant information, or take other action in response to valid governmental, regulatory, judicial, safety, customs, or law-enforcement requirements.
76. REFUNDS AND CUSTOMER REMEDIES
Where a prohibited, unsafe, counterfeit, unlawful, or materially misrepresented Product has been sold through a Daivavarna-Processed Transaction, Daivavarna may provide Customer remedies consistent with the Returns, Refunds and Cancellation Policy.
Applicable amounts may be recovered from Vendor proceeds or other lawful sources under the Fees and Vendor Payouts Policy.
77. VENDOR ENFORCEMENT
Violations of this Policy may result in one or more Marketplace actions, including:
Listing rejection;
Listing removal;
Product-level review;
required correction;
category suspension;
temporary account restriction;
payment hold;
reserve;
Customer refund;
additional verification;
reduction or removal of Marketplace privileges;
Vendor suspension;
or Vendor termination.
The action taken may depend upon seriousness, recurrence, risk, intent, Vendor cooperation, Customer impact, and Applicable Law.
78. IMMEDIATE ACTION
Daivavarna may act immediately without prior warning where reasonably necessary because of serious safety risk, fraud, counterfeit activity, unlawful Products, threats, human exploitation, payment abuse, deliberate falsification, or another significant risk.
79. REPEATED VIOLATIONS
A pattern of smaller violations may result in stronger enforcement even where no individual violation would independently justify termination.
Vendors are expected to correct identified problems and maintain continuing compliance.
80. NO GUARANTEE OF ELIGIBILITY
Daivavarna’s Marketplace categories, examples, Product descriptions, or previous approvals do not guarantee future approval.
Marketplace standards may evolve as Daivavarna gains operational experience, enters new jurisdictions, develops new categories, or identifies new safety and compliance concerns.
81. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
Daivavarna may modify this Policy prospectively to reflect changes in Applicable Law, Marketplace categories, safety standards, operational capabilities, payment-provider requirements, international commerce, or Marketplace purpose.
Where appropriate or legally required, Vendors may receive notice of material changes.
A Product that was previously permitted may become restricted or prohibited if Marketplace standards or legal requirements change.

Questions concerning whether a Product, Service, or activity is permitted should be submitted before Listing where eligibility is uncertain.

83. VENDOR ACKNOWLEDGMENT
By listing or offering Products or Services through Daivavarna, the Vendor acknowledges that Marketplace participation is conditional upon continued compliance with this Policy, the General Vendor Terms and Seller Agreement, applicable Marketplace Policies, and Supplemental Category Terms.
The Vendor understands that legality alone does not guarantee Marketplace eligibility and that Daivavarna may establish reasonable category, safety, material, authenticity, qualification, and curated Marketplace standards that are more restrictive than those of another sales channel.
The Vendor is responsible for understanding the rules applicable to each Product, Service, category, and destination.
Daivavarna may restrict or remove Products or Services where reasonably necessary to protect Customers, maintain Marketplace standards, reduce safety or legal risk, preserve the curated purpose of Daivavarna, or comply with Applicable Law.
Nothing in this Policy eliminates or limits obligations that cannot lawfully be waived.
