About These Supplemental Terms

These Classes & Teachers Supplemental Vendor Terms apply to Teachers, instructors, tutors, schools, educational organizations, traditional teachers, workshop leaders, and other Providers who offer Classes, courses, lessons, workshops, educational programs, tutoring, training, lectures, study groups, or similar educational Services through Daivavarna.

Daivavarna intends its Classes category to provide meaningful access to credible Teachers and educational programs connected with Vedic, Dharmic, devotional, traditional, cultural, linguistic, philosophical, artistic, agricultural, Ayurveda, Jyotisha, natural-living, craft, and other approved areas consistent with Daivavarna’s Marketplace purpose.

Teachers should possess education, training, traditional instruction, lineage, professional experience, demonstrable expertise, substantial practice, or another credible basis appropriate to the subjects they teach.

Casual self-study alone ordinarily does not qualify a person to present themselves as a professional Teacher of specialized traditional subjects where substantial knowledge or competence is reasonably expected.

Daivavarna recognizes that genuine knowledge may be transmitted through formal universities and institutions as well as through traditional teachers, gurus, acharyas, family traditions, apprenticeships, lineages, artisan communities, professional practice, and other credible educational methods.

These Supplemental Terms supplement the General Vendor Terms and Seller Agreement, Marketplace Policies, Reviews and Community Content Policy, Privacy Policy, Intellectual Property Policy, Fees and Vendor Payouts Policy, and other applicable Supplemental Category Terms.

Nothing in these Supplemental Terms authorizes a Teacher to provide regulated medical, legal, financial, mental-health, professional, or other Services outside the Teacher’s lawful qualifications and scope.

1. CATEGORY APPROVAL REQUIRED

A Teacher or educational Provider may be required to receive separate approval before offering Classes through Daivavarna.

General Vendor approval does not automatically authorize teaching Services.

Daivavarna may review:

Teacher identity;

education;

training;

qualifications;

lineage;

professional experience;

subject expertise;

course description;

curriculum;

sample materials;

institutional affiliations;

student audience;

teaching format;

or other relevant information.

2. TEACHER QUALIFICATION

Teachers must possess a credible basis for teaching the subject represented.

The appropriate qualification depends upon:

the subject;

level of instruction;

claims made;

student audience;

risk;

traditional context;

and Applicable Law.

3. CASUAL SELF-STUDY

Casual self-study alone may be insufficient to qualify a person as a professional Teacher in specialized traditional subjects.

Reading a few books, watching online videos, participating casually in discussion groups, or completing brief unsupervised study does not automatically establish sufficient expertise.

4. FORMAL EDUCATION

Formal education may support Teacher approval where relevant.

This may include education from:

universities;

colleges;

traditional institutions;

recognized schools;

professional academies;

language institutes;

music or dance schools;

Ayurveda institutions;

Jyotisha programs;

or other credible educational organizations.

5. TRADITIONAL EDUCATION

Daivavarna recognizes credible traditional education.

This may include:

guru-disciple instruction;

acharya-based learning;

lineage transmission;

ashram study;

temple education;

family traditions;

traditional schools;

artisan apprenticeship;

oral transmission;

or sustained instruction under a qualified Teacher.

6. LINEAGE CLAIMS

A Teacher claiming a particular lineage, sampradaya, guru tradition, school, teaching succession, or traditional affiliation must have a reasonable factual basis for that representation.

7. APPRENTICESHIP

Substantial apprenticeship may support qualification in subjects such as:

traditional crafts;

music;

dance;

agriculture;

cooking;

weaving;

sculpture;

painting;

temple arts;

or other practical disciplines.

8. PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

Substantial professional experience may support Teacher eligibility.

A Teacher shall not fabricate:

years of experience;

number of students;

positions held;

performances;

professional projects;

clients;

publications;

or other professional history.

9. TEACHING EXPERIENCE

Where a Teacher claims extensive teaching experience, the claim must be materially accurate.

Daivavarna may request reasonable evidence where teaching experience materially affects approval.

10. SHORT COURSES AND CERTIFICATES

Completion of a short certificate program does not automatically establish professional teaching competence.

Daivavarna may consider such certificates as one part of the Teacher’s overall qualifications.

11. ONLINE TRAINING

Online education may support Teacher qualifications where it is credible, substantial, and appropriate to the subject taught.

Online delivery alone does not make a qualification invalid.

12. SUBJECT-SPECIFIC COMPETENCE

Approval to teach one subject does not automatically qualify the Teacher to teach another specialized subject.

For example, approval to teach Sanskrit does not automatically authorize professional Ayurveda consultations.

13. CONTINUING ELIGIBILITY

Teacher approval is conditional and continuing.

Daivavarna may review eligibility where:

qualifications are questioned;

credentials expire;

the Teacher materially changes subjects;

serious complaints arise;

misconduct is reported;

or another reasonable concern exists.

14. QUALIFICATION VERIFICATION

Daivavarna may request:

degrees;

certificates;

teacher references;

lineage information;

institutional records;

professional portfolios;

published work;

performance history;

course materials;

or other reasonable evidence.

15. FALSE QUALIFICATIONS

Forged, borrowed, altered, fabricated, or materially misleading qualifications are prohibited.

Intentional credential fraud may result in immediate suspension or termination.

16. ACCURATE PROFESSIONAL TITLES

Teachers must use professional and traditional titles accurately.

Titles such as:

Professor;

Doctor;

Acharya;

Guru;

Pandit;

Vaidya;

Certified Teacher;

Master Teacher;

or similar

must not be used deceptively.

17. “GURU” AND SACRED TITLES

Daivavarna does not automatically verify spiritual authority merely because a person uses a sacred or traditional title.

A Teacher shall not falsely claim recognition, initiation authority, lineage status, or spiritual position that the Teacher does not possess.

18. INSTITUTIONAL AFFILIATION

A Teacher shall not falsely claim affiliation with:

a university;

temple;

ashram;

school;

lineage;

spiritual organization;

professional association;

government agency;

or another institution.

19. APPROVED SUBJECT AREAS

Classes may include approved subjects such as:

Vedic literature;

Bhagavad-gita study;

Upanishads;

Puranas;

Vedanta;

Bhakti traditions;

Sanskrit;

Indian languages;

traditional philosophy;

Jyotisha;

Ayurveda education;

traditional yoga philosophy;

music;

dance;

arts;

crafts;

traditional cooking;

Sattvic cooking;

natural farming;

handloom;

weaving;

painting;

sculpture;

temple arts;

devotional practices;

cultural studies;

traditional household knowledge;

and other approved subjects.

20. CURATED EDUCATIONAL PURPOSE

Daivavarna is not intended to function as an unrestricted general online-course marketplace.

Daivavarna may decline Classes that do not reasonably align with the Marketplace’s traditional, devotional, cultural, educational, natural-living, artisan, or community purpose.

21. EDUCATIONAL EDITORIAL DISCRETION

Daivavarna may exercise reasonable editorial discretion concerning:

subject;

Teacher;

curriculum;

presentation;

methodology;

student audience;

Marketplace fit;

and alignment with Daivavarna’s educational purpose.

22. COURSE DESCRIPTION

The Class Listing must accurately describe:

subject;

level;

Teacher;

format;

duration;

schedule;

price;

prerequisites;

materials;

and major learning objectives

where applicable.

23. BEGINNER, INTERMEDIATE AND ADVANCED LEVELS

A Teacher should accurately characterize the expected level of a Class.

An advanced course should not be marketed to complete beginners without appropriate explanation.

24. PREREQUISITES

Where prior knowledge or training is genuinely necessary, the Teacher should clearly disclose prerequisites before enrollment.

25. LEARNING OUTCOMES

Teachers may state reasonable educational goals.

A Teacher shall not guarantee outcomes that depend substantially upon:

student effort;

ability;

attendance;

practice;

external examinations;

employment;

or other uncertain factors.

26. NO GUARANTEED MASTERY

A Teacher shall not guarantee that every student will become a master, expert, certified practitioner, fluent speaker, professional artist, or otherwise attain a particular competence solely by purchasing the Class.

27. CERTIFICATE OF COMPLETION

A Teacher may offer a certificate of completion where accurately described.

A completion certificate must not be presented as:

government licensure;

professional registration;

a university degree;

or another formal qualification

unless it actually carries that status.

28. PROFESSIONAL CERTIFICATION CLAIMS

Where a course claims to provide professional certification, the Teacher must have a reasonable basis for that representation.

Material limitations concerning recognition should be disclosed.

29. NO AUTOMATIC PROFESSIONAL AUTHORITY

Completion of a Daivavarna-listed Class does not automatically authorize a Student to practice:

medicine;

Ayurveda;

law;

mental-health treatment;

regulated nutrition;

professional astrology;

or another regulated profession.

30. AYURVEDA CLASSES

Educational Classes about Ayurveda may be permitted where the Teacher is appropriately qualified.

Such Classes must be distinguished from individualized Ayurveda Practitioner Services.

31. AYURVEDA PRACTITIONER SERVICES

A Teacher who provides individualized consultations concerning a Customer’s personal health may require separate Ayurveda Practitioner approval.

Classes approval alone does not authorize professional Ayurveda consultation.

32. ASTROLOGY CLASSES

Teachers may offer Jyotisha or Astrology Classes where qualified.

Professional individualized astrology consultations may require separate Astrology category approval.

33. TEACHER QUALIFICATION FOR ASTROLOGY

A person teaching professional astrology should possess substantial knowledge and training appropriate to the subject.

Casual use of astrology software alone is insufficient.

34. SANSKRIT CLASSES

Sanskrit Teachers should accurately describe their level of competence and the type of Sanskrit instruction provided.

Possible formats may include:

spoken Sanskrit;

grammar;

reading;

scripture reading;

Devanagari;

pronunciation;

traditional grammar;

or other areas.

35. SCRIPTURAL CLASSES

Teachers offering scripture Classes should accurately identify:

text;

commentarial tradition where relevant;

language;

translation;

level;

and teaching approach.

36. COMMENTARIAL TRADITION

Where a course is taught according to a particular traditional commentary, acharya, lineage, or philosophical school, that fact should be accurately represented.

37. PERSONAL INTERPRETATION

A Teacher may provide personal scholarly or philosophical interpretation where appropriate.

Such interpretation should not be falsely attributed to a traditional acharya or lineage.

38. DEVOTIONAL CLASSES

Classes involving chanting, prayer, worship, philosophy, or devotional practice may be offered where appropriate.

The religious or devotional nature of the Class should be reasonably clear before enrollment.

39. MANTRA INSTRUCTION

Mantra instruction may require special traditional qualifications depending upon the nature of the instruction.

Daivavarna may distinguish between:

general educational teaching;

publicly available devotional chants;

and restricted or initiatory instruction.

40. INITIATION CLAIMS

A Teacher shall not falsely claim authority to provide spiritual initiation, diksha, mantra initiation, priestly authorization, or lineage recognition.

41. RESTRICTED TRADITIONAL KNOWLEDGE

Daivavarna may decline Classes where the Teacher appears to be commercially distributing traditionally restricted or confidential teachings without appropriate authority.

42. YOGA CLASSES

Traditional yoga philosophy or practice Classes may be eligible.

Physical yoga instruction may involve additional safety, insurance, facility, or professional requirements.

43. PHYSICAL ACTIVITY

Classes involving physical movement must be conducted with reasonable regard for student safety.

Teachers should not encourage Students to ignore pain, medical restrictions, or physical limitations.

44. MEDICAL LIMITATIONS

A Teacher who is not a licensed healthcare professional shall not present an ordinary educational Class as medical treatment.

45. MUSIC CLASSES

Teachers may offer approved Classes involving:

classical music;

devotional music;

bhajan;

kirtan;

instrument instruction;

vocal training;

or other traditional music.

The Teacher should have appropriate competence in the subject taught.

46. DANCE CLASSES

Traditional and classical dance instruction may be eligible.

Teachers should accurately describe:

style;

level;

physical requirements;

and any relevant background.

47. ARTS AND CRAFTS CLASSES

Classes may cover:

painting;

sculpture;

weaving;

embroidery;

pottery;

woodwork;

traditional decorative arts;

handloom;

craft techniques;

or other approved areas.

Safety requirements apply where tools, heat, chemicals, sharp instruments, or other hazards are involved.

48. COOKING CLASSES

Cooking Classes may be eligible where they align with Daivavarna’s culinary standards.

Classes marketed as Sattvic should comply with Daivavarna’s Sattvic ingredient principles.

49. SATTVIC COOKING CLAIMS

A Class marketed as Sattvic cooking shall not knowingly teach recipes containing ingredients prohibited under Daivavarna’s Sattvic Foods standard while presenting them as compliant.

50. FARMING CLASSES

Natural farming, traditional agriculture, seed saving, soil health, composting, or related educational Classes may be eligible.

A Teacher should distinguish general education from regulated pesticide, agronomy, veterinary, or professional advice where applicable.

51. WORKSHOPS

One-time workshops may be offered under these terms.

A workshop remains subject to the same requirements concerning:

Teacher qualification;

description;

safety;

payment;

cancellation;

privacy;

and intellectual property.

52. LECTURES

Standalone lectures may be listed where approved.

A lecture should not be represented as a full professional training program where it is only an introductory presentation.

53. STUDY GROUPS

Facilitated study groups may be permitted.

A facilitator who is not acting as an expert Teacher should accurately describe the nature of the group.

54. TUTORING

Individual tutoring may be offered where the Provider is appropriately qualified.

A tutoring Service must not be misrepresented as a regulated professional consultation.

55. ONE-ON-ONE TEACHING

Individualized educational instruction may be offered.

Where the interaction becomes primarily health, astrology, legal, financial, or another separately regulated consultation, additional category requirements may apply.

56. LIVE ONLINE CLASSES

Live Classes may be provided through approved video, audio, webinar, or similar platforms.

The Listing should clearly explain the format.

57. IN-PERSON CLASSES

In-person Classes may be offered where lawful and approved.

The Provider remains responsible for:

venue safety;

occupancy;

access;

insurance;

local permits;

and other applicable requirements.

58. RECORDED COURSES

Pre-recorded courses may be permitted where the Teacher has sufficient rights to the content.

The Listing should clearly identify that the course is recorded rather than live.

59. HYBRID COURSES

Courses combining recorded material and live instruction should explain the approximate structure.

60. CLASS DURATION

Course length and individual session duration must be represented reasonably accurately.

61. COURSE SCHEDULE

The Provider should clearly disclose:

start date;

end date where applicable;

meeting days;

meeting times;

time zone;

and expected number of sessions.

62. TIME ZONES

Online Teachers must manage time-zone information carefully.

Repeated scheduling errors may result in Marketplace review.

63. SCHEDULE CHANGES

Material schedule changes should be communicated promptly.

Where a change substantially affects the Student’s ability to attend, applicable cancellation or refund rights may arise.

64. TEACHER CANCELLATION

Where the Teacher cancels a paid Class and does not provide an appropriate alternative accepted by the Student, the Student may be entitled to a refund for the affected Daivavarna-Processed payment.

65. SUBSTITUTE TEACHERS

A Provider shall not secretly replace the advertised Teacher with another instructor where Teacher identity was material to the enrollment decision.

Substitution should be disclosed where reasonably practicable.

The substitute must be appropriately qualified.

66. MULTI-TEACHER COURSES

Courses involving multiple Teachers should identify the teaching structure where material.

Approval of one Teacher does not automatically verify every participating instructor.

67. SCHOOLS AND ORGANIZATIONS

Educational organizations may participate where approved.

The organization must accurately identify the Teachers delivering the Classes.

68. STUDENT CAPACITY

Where Class size materially affects instruction, the Provider should not substantially exceed the represented capacity in a manner that materially degrades the purchased Service.

69. PRIVATE CLASSES

Private Classes should accurately state whether pricing is:

per Student;

per household;

per session;

or per group.

70. FAMILY CLASSES

Family Classes may be offered where appropriate.

Where children participate, applicable minor-safety and consent requirements apply.

71. CHILDREN’S CLASSES

Classes designed for minors may require enhanced review.

Daivavarna may request information concerning:

Teacher background;

parental involvement;

class format;

communication;

recording;

supervision;

and safety.

72. PARENT OR GUARDIAN CONSENT

Where required, appropriate parental or guardian consent must be obtained before a minor participates.

73. COMMUNICATION WITH MINORS

Teachers must maintain appropriate professional boundaries when communicating with minors.

Private communications should comply with Applicable Law and any Daivavarna child-safety requirements.

74. CHILD SAFETY

Sexual misconduct, grooming, exploitation, inappropriate private communication, or other abuse involving minors is prohibited.

Credible serious concerns may result in immediate suspension.

75. BACKGROUND CHECKS

Daivavarna may require background checks or additional verification for certain Teachers, particularly where Classes involve minors or in-person instruction.

Availability and requirements may depend upon jurisdiction and Marketplace capabilities.

76. CLASS MATERIALS

The Listing should identify material course resources included in the price where relevant.

Examples may include:

books;

PDFs;

worksheets;

recordings;

supplies;

templates;

or other materials.

77. REQUIRED MATERIALS

If Students must separately purchase required books, tools, ingredients, musical instruments, craft supplies, or other materials, that requirement should be disclosed before enrollment.

78. PRODUCT SALES CONNECTED TO CLASSES

Teachers may recommend or sell approved Products where separately authorized.

Students shall not be deceptively told that unnecessary Products must be purchased from the Teacher as a condition of participation.

79. MATERIAL COMMERCIAL INTERESTS

Where a Teacher financially benefits from recommending a particular Product or Provider, disclosure may be required where necessary to prevent deception.

80. COURSE MATERIAL OWNERSHIP

Teachers retain whatever intellectual-property rights they lawfully possess in original course materials, subject to licenses granted under applicable Daivavarna agreements.

81. STUDENT LICENSE TO USE MATERIALS

Purchasing a Class ordinarily provides the Student only the personal educational use rights reasonably associated with the purchase.

It does not automatically grant the Student the right to:

republish;

resell;

upload;

commercially reproduce;

translate;

record;

or distribute

the Teacher’s protected materials.

82. UNAUTHORIZED REDISTRIBUTION

Students shall not unlawfully redistribute protected course:

videos;

audio;

PDFs;

slides;

books;

worksheets;

translations;

notes;

or recordings.

83. TEACHER USE OF THIRD-PARTY MATERIALS

Teachers must have sufficient rights to use third-party:

books;

photographs;

recordings;

translations;

music;

videos;

illustrations;

or course materials.

84. SCREEN SHARING AND DIGITAL MATERIALS

Screen-sharing copyrighted material during a Class does not automatically make unrestricted copying lawful.

Teachers remain responsible for appropriate use rights.

85. SACRED TEXTS

Ancient or public-domain sacred texts may be taught.

Protected modern translations, commentaries, annotations, or editions may still require permission for substantial reproduction.

86. COURSE RECORDING BY TEACHER

A Teacher may record a Class only where recording is lawful and appropriate permissions have been obtained.

87. TEACHER PERMISSION FOR RECORDING

Students shall not record a Class contrary to the Teacher’s clearly communicated lawful recording policy.

88. PARTICIPANT CONSENT

Where other Students or participants may be identifiable in a recording, the Teacher must obtain whatever consent is required by Applicable Law.

89. RECORDING NOTICE

Where a Class will be recorded, Students should receive appropriate notice before participating.

90. USE OF RECORDINGS FOR FUTURE COURSES

A Teacher shall not repurpose recordings of identifiable Students for future commercial courses, advertising, or public distribution without sufficient authorization.

91. STUDENT PRIVACY

Teachers shall not unnecessarily disclose:

student names;

contact details;

private messages;

educational difficulties;

religious discussions;

health information;

or other private information.

92. CLASS DISCUSSIONS

Where Classes involve personal discussion, Teachers should maintain appropriate confidentiality.

Students should also respect the privacy of other participants.

93. HEALTH INFORMATION

Teachers should avoid collecting unnecessary sensitive medical information.

Where physical limitations are relevant to a Class, only reasonably necessary information should be requested.

94. NO SALE OF STUDENT DATA

Teachers shall not sell Student contact information or class-participation information to unrelated marketers or data brokers.

95. MARKETING AFTER ENROLLMENT

Use of Student information for marketing must comply with Applicable Law and relevant Daivavarna privacy requirements.

96. CLASS PHOTOGRAPHS

In-person Teachers shall not publicly use identifiable Student photographs without appropriate permission where required.

97. TESTIMONIALS

Teachers may use genuine Student testimonials where lawfully obtained.

Testimonials must not be fabricated or materially altered.

98. REVIEW MANIPULATION

Teachers shall not:

buy reviews;

create fake Students;

review their own Classes;

condition refunds upon positive reviews;

or threaten Students regarding reviews.

99. STUDENT REVIEWS

Students may leave genuine reviews under the Reviews and Community Content Policy.

Teachers must not retaliate against Students merely for leaving legitimate negative feedback.

100. COURSE CLAIMS

Teachers must not make materially misleading claims regarding:

qualification;

course content;

certification;

student outcomes;

employment prospects;

spiritual attainment;

or professional authority.

101. EMPLOYMENT GUARANTEES

A Class shall not guarantee employment, salary, promotion, or professional success unless the Provider has a lawful and supportable basis for the guarantee.

102. SPIRITUAL ATTAINMENT GUARANTEES

A Teacher shall not guarantee liberation, enlightenment, mystical powers, spiritual perfection, removal of all karma, or another spiritual outcome merely because a Student purchases a course.

103. FEAR-BASED SELLING

Teachers shall not use fabricated spiritual threats, curses, catastrophic predictions, or fear to pressure Students into buying Classes, advanced programs, donations, initiation, or Products.

104. HIGH-PRESSURE UPSELLING

Teachers may offer advanced courses.

Students must not be subjected to deceptive or coercive pressure to make substantial additional purchases.

105. ADVANCED COURSE PREREQUISITES

Where an advanced program genuinely requires completion of earlier study, that prerequisite may be enforced.

It should not be fabricated solely to compel unnecessary purchases.

106. DONATIONS

A Teacher or institution may lawfully request donations where appropriate.

A voluntary donation must not be falsely represented as mandatory unless it is actually part of the disclosed price or participation requirement.

107. RELIGIOUS DONATIONS

Claims that funds will be donated to a temple, ashram, charity, teacher, or other institution must be truthful.

108. TUITION

Class pricing must be accurately disclosed.

Mandatory fees should not be hidden until after enrollment.

109. INSTALLMENT PLANS

Where installment payments are offered, the Provider should disclose:

total cost;

payment schedule;

and material cancellation consequences.

110. SCHOLARSHIPS

Scholarship or reduced-fee claims must be genuine.

A Provider shall not use fake scholarships merely to create deceptive urgency.

111. EARLY-BIRD PRICING

Early-bird or promotional pricing must not use false deadlines or fabricated discounts.

112. DIRECT-PAYMENT CLASSES

Where Daivavarna permits direct payment to the Teacher, the Teacher remains responsible for:

payment collection;

receipts;

refunds;

taxes;

and security of the external payment method.

Daivavarna generally cannot directly reverse money paid outside its system.

113. DAIVAVARNA-ASSISTED PAYMENT

Where Daivavarna processes the Student’s payment, the Fees and Vendor Payouts Policy applies.

114. SERVICE COMPLETION

Daivavarna may establish payment-release rules based upon:

Class delivery;

course milestones;

course completion;

or another appropriate event.

115. CUSTOMER CANCELLATION

Student cancellation rights are governed by the Returns, Refunds and Cancellation Policy, the disclosed Class terms, and Applicable Law.

116. CANCELLATION BEFORE CLASS START

Daivavarna may permit cancellation before the Class begins according to the applicable Marketplace cancellation rules.

117. CANCELLATION AFTER COURSE COMMENCES

Refund eligibility may depend upon:

amount of course already delivered;

digital materials accessed;

sessions attended;

Teacher performance;

and Applicable Law.

118. RECORDED COURSE ACCESS

Where a Student has received substantial access to downloadable or recorded educational content, cancellation rights may differ from those applicable to a future live Class.

119. TEACHER NONPERFORMANCE

A Student may be entitled to an appropriate remedy where the Teacher:

fails to provide the course;

materially abandons the course;

repeatedly misses sessions;

substantially changes the promised subject;

or otherwise materially fails to deliver the purchased educational Service.

120. SUBJECTIVE DISSATISFACTION

A Student is not automatically entitled to a refund merely because:

the Student found the subject difficult;

did not agree with the Teacher’s interpretation;

did not achieve the hoped-for skill;

or later decided the Class was not personally interesting.

This does not eliminate remedies for material misrepresentation or nonperformance.

121. COURSE RESCHEDULING

Teachers may reasonably reschedule Classes when necessary.

Repeated or substantial rescheduling may create refund rights where the Student can no longer reasonably participate.

122. STUDENT NO-SHOWS

Reasonable no-show or missed-Class rules may be used where disclosed.

123. MAKE-UP CLASSES

Where make-up sessions are offered, the Provider should accurately describe whether they are guaranteed, discretionary, live, or recorded.

124. ATTENDANCE

A Teacher may establish attendance requirements for:

completion;

certificates;

advanced progression;

or other legitimate educational purposes.

125. COURSE ASSESSMENT

Tests, assignments, examinations, recitation, performances, or practical demonstrations may be used where appropriate.

Assessment standards should not be applied fraudulently or discriminatorily contrary to Applicable Law.

126. CERTIFICATE REQUIREMENTS

Where certification requires attendance, examinations, practice hours, or assignments, those conditions should be disclosed.

127. STUDENT MISCONDUCT

Teachers may establish reasonable conduct rules.

Students may be removed for serious:

harassment;

threats;

disruption;

fraud;

recording violations;

or other misconduct.

Refund treatment should depend upon the circumstances and applicable rules.

128. TEACHER MISCONDUCT

Teachers may be investigated for:

harassment;

fraud;

sexual misconduct;

credential fraud;

privacy violations;

unsafe instruction;

financial exploitation;

or other serious misconduct.

129. SEXUAL HARASSMENT

Sexual harassment, unwanted sexual conduct, sexual coercion, or exploitation of Students is prohibited.

130. PROFESSIONAL BOUNDARIES

Teachers should maintain reasonable professional boundaries, particularly in:

one-to-one teaching;

residential programs;

spiritual instruction;

and Classes involving minors.

131. PHYSICAL CONTACT

Where physical adjustment or physical instruction is part of a Class, Teachers must comply with consent, professional, safety, and legal requirements.

132. DISCRIMINATION

Teachers must comply with Applicable Law concerning unlawful discrimination.

Daivavarna may also establish additional Marketplace conduct standards.

133. HARASSMENT

Harassment, threats, intimidation, humiliation, or abusive treatment of Students may result in enforcement.

134. ACADEMIC DISAGREEMENT

Respectful philosophical, scriptural, artistic, linguistic, or scholarly disagreement is not harassment merely because participants hold different views.

135. CLASSROOM DISCUSSION

Teachers may establish reasonable standards for respectful discussion.

Daivavarna’s traditional and devotional orientation does not require a Teacher to permit disruptive conduct that prevents delivery of the Class.

136. OFF-PLATFORM COMMUNICATION

Teachers may use external video, messaging, or learning platforms where reasonably necessary to deliver the approved Class.

Marketplace privacy, conduct, payment, and anti-circumvention rules continue to apply.

137. OFF-PLATFORM PAYMENT

Where Daivavarna’s approved model permits Direct Payment, external payment is allowed according to applicable terms.

Otherwise, Teachers shall not improperly redirect transactions solely to avoid applicable Daivavarna fees.

138. FEE CIRCUMVENTION

Teachers shall not manipulate course Listings, messaging, or payment arrangements solely to evade legitimate Marketplace fees.

139. CLASS ACCESS LINKS

Private Class links, meeting credentials, passwords, or digital classroom access information should be protected reasonably.

140. UNAUTHORIZED SHARING OF ACCESS

Students shall not distribute private paid-Class access credentials in violation of the purchased terms.

Teachers should use reasonable technical controls where practical.

141. COURSE PLATFORM SECURITY

Teachers using third-party teaching platforms remain responsible for reasonable account and Class security.

142. DIGITAL SAFETY

Teachers shall not distribute:

malware;

phishing links;

unsafe downloads;

or malicious files

through course materials.

143. AI-ASSISTED COURSE MATERIALS

Teachers may use artificial intelligence as an aid where lawful.

The Teacher remains responsible for:

accuracy;

intellectual property;

misrepresentation;

and educational quality.

144. AI-GENERATED TEACHING

A Teacher shall not market a Class as live individualized human instruction where the purchased Service is materially delivered by automated AI without clear disclosure.

145. AI IMPERSONATION

AI-generated voice, video, or text shall not be used to falsely impersonate:

a guru;

acharya;

Teacher;

scholar;

historical figure;

or other person.

146. TRADITIONAL AUTHORITY CLAIMS

Teachers shall not fabricate claims that course materials were:

authorized by a lineage;

approved by an acharya;

blessed by a spiritual Teacher;

officially adopted by a temple;

or recognized by an institution.

147. BOOKS USED IN CLASSES

Books required or recommended for Classes remain subject to intellectual-property and Books category requirements where sold through Daivavarna.

148. COURSE NOTES

Teacher-created notes may be protected intellectual property.

Students may take ordinary personal notes unless the Teacher establishes a lawful and reasonable limitation.

149. STUDENT-CREATED WORK

Students generally retain whatever rights they possess in original work they create.

A Teacher shall not claim unrestricted ownership of Student artwork, writing, recordings, or projects without a lawful agreement.

150. DISPLAY OF STUDENT WORK

A Teacher should obtain appropriate permission before using identifiable Student work commercially or publicly where permission is required.

151. CLASSROOM PERFORMANCE RECORDINGS

Music, dance, chanting, theatre, presentations, or other Student performances should not be publicly distributed without required permissions.

152. COPYRIGHT IN RECORDINGS

A Class recording may contain multiple rights belonging to:

Teacher;

participants;

musicians;

authors;

publishers;

or other rights holders.

Permission to record does not automatically create unrestricted commercial redistribution rights.

153. LIVE MUSIC AND COPYRIGHT

Teachers using modern copyrighted compositions must comply with applicable intellectual-property requirements.

154. PUBLIC-DOMAIN MATERIALS

Ancient texts, traditional material, and public-domain works may be used where lawful.

Protected modern translations, recordings, arrangements, and commentaries remain separately protected.

155. COURSE PLAGIARISM

A Teacher shall not copy another Teacher’s substantial protected course materials and present them as original.

156. FALSE AUTHORSHIP

A Teacher shall not falsely claim authorship of books, articles, research, translations, or course materials.

157. STUDENT RECORDS

Teachers should maintain Student and enrollment records required by Applicable Law or reasonably necessary for delivery of the course.

158. RECORD ALTERATION

A Teacher shall not fabricate attendance, assessment results, completion records, or certificates in order to mislead Students or Daivavarna.

159. CUSTOMER COMPLAINTS

Daivavarna may investigate complaints involving:

false qualifications;

nonperformance;

harassment;

recording violations;

unsafe teaching;

misleading certification;

privacy violations;

fraud;

or other significant issues.

160. COOPERATION WITH INVESTIGATIONS

Teachers must reasonably cooperate with legitimate Marketplace investigations.

161. TEMPORARY SUSPENSION

Daivavarna may temporarily suspend a Class or Teacher while investigating a credible serious concern.

Temporary suspension does not necessarily constitute a final determination.

162. SAFETY INCIDENTS

Teachers must promptly report serious safety incidents reasonably connected with a Daivavarna-listed Class where required by Marketplace policy or Applicable Law.

163. IN-PERSON VENUE SAFETY

Providers of in-person Classes remain responsible for:

safe premises;

fire safety;

occupancy;

equipment;

emergency access;

and legally required facility conditions.

164. TOOLS AND EQUIPMENT

Classes involving:

knives;

craft tools;

heat;

kilns;

fire;

woodworking equipment;

farm tools;

or other potentially hazardous equipment

must use reasonable safety procedures.

165. ELECTRICAL EQUIPMENT USED DURING A CLASS

Daivavarna’s launch prohibition on selling electrical Products does not necessarily prohibit a Teacher from lawfully using ordinary electrical equipment to conduct a Class.

However, electrical equipment should not be sold through the Marketplace unless separately eligible.

166. FOOD SAFETY IN COOKING CLASSES

Teachers providing in-person cooking Classes must follow applicable food-safety and facility requirements.

167. ALLERGENS

Where food is prepared or served, Teachers should provide legally required allergen information and reasonable warnings.

168. AYURVEDA DEMONSTRATIONS

Ayurveda educational demonstrations involving Products or body treatments may require additional review depending upon the activity.

169. AGRICULTURAL DEMONSTRATIONS

Farm Classes involving pesticides, fertilizers, animals, tools, machinery, or other hazards must comply with applicable safety requirements.

170. INSURANCE

Daivavarna may require or recommend:

general liability;

professional liability;

event insurance;

facility insurance;

or other appropriate coverage

depending upon the Class.

Where insurance is legally required, the Provider must maintain it.

171. INSURANCE CLAIMS

A Teacher shall not falsely represent that a Class or school is insured.

172. BUSINESS LICENSES

Teachers and schools remain responsible for any:

business registration;

education permits;

facility licenses;

tax registrations;

professional licenses;

or other approvals required by Applicable Law.

173. INTERNATIONAL TEACHING

Online Classes may be offered across borders where lawful and supported.

Teachers remain responsible for laws applicable to their location and, where relevant, Student locations.

174. TAXES

Teachers remain responsible for taxes applicable to educational Services except where Daivavarna is legally required to collect, remit, or withhold particular amounts.

175. ADVERTISING

Class advertising must be truthful and not materially misleading.

176. “WORLD-CLASS,” “MASTER,” OR SIMILAR CLAIMS

Claims concerning exceptional expertise, mastery, rank, awards, or recognition should have a reasonable basis where presented as objective facts.

177. STUDENT NUMBER CLAIMS

Claims such as:

“taught 10,000 students”;

“largest Sanskrit school”;

“most successful course”;

or similar measurable claims

must not be fabricated.

178. AWARDS

Teachers shall not fabricate:

awards;

certifications;

media recognition;

academic honors;

or institutional recognition.

179. GOVERNMENT RECOGNITION

A Teacher or school shall not falsely claim governmental recognition, accreditation, approval, or licensing.

180. DAIVAVARNA APPROVAL

A Teacher may accurately state that the Teacher is approved to offer Classes on Daivavarna while that approval remains current.

The Teacher shall not state that Daivavarna certifies every teaching claim, qualification, or outcome.

181. ACCREDITATION

If a school or program claims accreditation, the accreditation must be genuine and accurately described.

182. CERTIFICATE VALUE

A Teacher must not falsely tell Students that an internally issued completion certificate provides legal authority to practice a regulated profession.

183. EMPLOYMENT PLACEMENT

If employment placement assistance is offered, the scope should be accurately described.

A course shall not promise guaranteed employment unless such a guarantee is lawful and genuine.

184. STUDENT REFERRALS

Referral arrangements involving employers, practitioners, schools, Products, or other Providers must not be deceptive.

Material financial relationships may require disclosure.

185. AFFILIATE SALES

Teachers may participate in lawful affiliate arrangements where permitted.

Commercial incentives should not be disguised as independent educational recommendations where disclosure is necessary.

186. SHAM CLASSES

Fake Classes created to:

transfer unrelated funds;

manufacture reviews;

create false qualifications;

launder money;

or manipulate Marketplace metrics

are prohibited.

187. ACCOUNT SHARING

An approved Teacher account shall not be used by an unapproved person to deliver Classes under the Teacher’s identity.

188. IDENTITY OF TEACHER

Students should receive instruction from the Teacher or organization reasonably represented in the Listing.

189. TEACHER PROFILE PHOTOGRAPHS

Profile images must not falsely represent another person as the Teacher.

190. IMPERSONATION

A Teacher shall not impersonate:

another Teacher;

scholar;

guru;

institution;

organization;

or Daivavarna representative.

191. REVIEW OF QUALIFICATIONS

Daivavarna may periodically reverify Teacher credentials, particularly where certifications, professional registrations, or insurance expire.

192. CHANGES IN QUALIFICATIONS

Teachers should update materially changed qualification information.

193. PROFESSIONAL DISCIPLINARY ACTION

A Teacher must not intentionally conceal a material professional suspension or revocation relevant to the subject or Service relied upon for Marketplace approval.

194. CROSS-CATEGORY APPROVAL

A Teacher may require separate approval for additional Daivavarna activities.

Examples include:

Ayurveda consultations;

Astrology consultations;

Product sales;

Events;

Accommodations;

Books;

or Services.

195. CLASSES VERSUS EVENTS

A structured educational program primarily focused on instruction ordinarily belongs in Classes.

A festival, gathering, conference, public program, or community occasion may belong principally in Events.

Some activities may require both sets of requirements.

196. CLASSES VERSUS SERVICES

A course teaching a general skill belongs in Classes.

A Provider performing individualized work for a Customer may belong in Services.

197. CLASSES VERSUS PRACTITIONER SERVICES

General education concerning Ayurveda or Astrology does not automatically constitute individualized practitioner consultation.

Once individualized diagnosis, treatment, prediction, or professional consultation becomes the primary Service, the appropriate practitioner category may apply.

198. BOOKS AND COURSE MATERIAL SALES

Physical books or educational materials sold separately may require Product-category approval.

199. PROHIBITED PRODUCTS

Teachers shall not use Classes as a mechanism to sell Products prohibited under Daivavarna’s Prohibited and Restricted Products, Services and Activities Policy.

200. ILLEGAL INSTRUCTION

Classes whose principal purpose is to train Students to engage in unlawful conduct may be prohibited.

201. DANGEROUS INSTRUCTION

Daivavarna may restrict instruction that presents unreasonable safety risks or requires specialized regulation beyond the Marketplace’s capabilities.

202. WEAPONS TRAINING

Daivavarna may prohibit or restrict weapons-related training even where the underlying activity may be lawful elsewhere.

203. INTOXICANTS

Classes principally promoting prohibited intoxicants or recreational drug use may be excluded.

Historical, cultural, legal, or educational discussion may be treated differently.

204. MARKETPLACE ENFORCEMENT

Failure to comply with these Supplemental Terms may result in:

Listing correction;

Class rejection;

removal of misleading claims;

qualification reverification;

Class suspension;

loss of Classes category approval;

payment holds where appropriate;

Student refunds;

Vendor suspension;

or termination.

205. IMMEDIATE ACTION

Daivavarna may take immediate action where credible evidence indicates:

forged qualifications;

sexual misconduct;

child exploitation;

serious safety violations;

fraudulent certification;

financial exploitation;

serious harassment;

or another substantial violation.

206. REPEATED VIOLATIONS

Repeated smaller violations may result in stronger Marketplace action.

Teachers are expected to correct identified issues and maintain continuing compliance.

207. STUDENT REMEDIES

For Daivavarna-Processed Transactions, Daivavarna may provide an appropriate refund or other remedy where available evidence supports:

material nonperformance;

Teacher cancellation;

fraud;

material misrepresentation;

or another qualifying basis under Marketplace Policies.

208. DIRECT-PAYMENT DISPUTES

Where the Student paid the Teacher directly, the Teacher remains responsible for valid refunds.

Daivavarna generally cannot retrieve funds transferred outside its payment system but may still investigate and enforce Marketplace requirements.

209. CHARGEBACKS

Daivavarna-Processed payment disputes are governed by the Fees and Vendor Payouts Policy.

Teachers must reasonably cooperate with legitimate payment investigations.

210. NO GUARANTEE BY DAIVAVARNA

Daivavarna’s approval of a Teacher or Class does not constitute:

government accreditation;

professional licensing;

a guarantee of educational quality;

a guarantee of Student achievement;

or endorsement of every statement made by the Teacher.

211. STUDENT RESPONSIBILITY

Students remain responsible for:

attendance;

practice;

study;

assignments;

personal decisions;

and determining whether a Class satisfies their individual educational needs.

212. MARKETPLACE CURATION

Daivavarna may remove or decline Classes that no longer fit its curated educational purpose even where the Class is otherwise lawful.

213. CHANGES TO THESE SUPPLEMENTAL TERMS

Daivavarna may update these Classes & Teachers Supplemental Vendor Terms as Marketplace features, educational standards, legal requirements, safety considerations, or operational practices evolve.

Material changes may require Teacher reacceptance.

214. CATEGORY TERMS VERSIONING

Daivavarna may maintain an electronic record identifying:

Teacher or Provider identity;

category;

Category Terms Version;

date and time of acceptance;

and other reasonable acceptance information.

Acceptance of Version 1.0 does not automatically constitute acceptance of a later materially revised version.

215. REACCEPTANCE AFTER MATERIAL CHANGES

Where these Supplemental Terms are materially revised, Daivavarna may require the Teacher to review and accept the updated version before creating, editing, publishing, enrolling Students in, or continuing to provide Classes.

216. RELATIONSHIP TO GENERAL VENDOR TERMS

These Supplemental Terms supplement rather than replace the General Vendor Terms and Seller Agreement.

Teachers must comply with both.

Where these Supplemental Terms establish a more specific Classes or Teacher requirement, that requirement ordinarily governs the category-specific matter unless Applicable Law or another expressly controlling Marketplace rule provides otherwise.

218. TEACHER CATEGORY ACKNOWLEDGMENT

By accepting these Classes & Teachers Supplemental Vendor Terms, the Teacher or Provider confirms that they have reviewed and understand the qualification, educational, safety, privacy, recording, intellectual-property, payment, Student-protection, and Marketplace requirements applicable to Classes offered through Daivavarna.

The Teacher represents that material statements concerning education, training, Teachers, lineage, qualifications, professional experience, institutional affiliations, teaching history, certifications, and other credentials are materially accurate.

The Teacher acknowledges that casual self-study alone does not ordinarily satisfy Daivavarna’s professional qualification standard for specialized traditional subjects where substantial expertise is reasonably expected.

The Teacher understands that Daivavarna recognizes both credible formal education and genuine traditional forms of instruction, including lineage, apprenticeship, guru-disciple education, artisan training, sustained professional practice, and other meaningful methods of acquiring expertise.

The Teacher agrees to accurately describe the Class subject, Teacher, curriculum, level, schedule, duration, materials, prerequisites, price, certification status, recording arrangements, and other material conditions.

The Teacher acknowledges that a course-completion certificate does not automatically create governmental licensure or authority to practice a regulated profession.

The Teacher agrees not to secretly record Students or other participants and understands that Class recording may occur only where permitted by the Teacher and where all consent required by Applicable Law has been obtained from identifiable participants.

The Teacher agrees to protect Student Personal Information and not to commercially exploit, publicly disclose, or reuse identifiable Student recordings, photographs, stories, or work without sufficient authorization.

The Teacher acknowledges that approval to teach general Ayurveda or Astrology education does not automatically authorize individualized Ayurveda Practitioner or Astrology consultation Services, and that additional category approval may be required.

The Teacher further acknowledges that Classes approval does not automatically authorize Product sales, Events, Accommodations, professional Services, or other separately approved Marketplace activities.

The Teacher agrees to maintain appropriate professional boundaries, particularly when teaching minors or vulnerable Students, and acknowledges that fraud, sexual misconduct, harassment, exploitation, forged credentials, serious safety violations, or other substantial misconduct may result in immediate Marketplace action.

The Teacher agrees to comply with these Supplemental Terms, the General Vendor Terms and Seller Agreement, Marketplace Policies, Intellectual Property Policy, Privacy requirements, and Applicable Law for so long as the Teacher offers Classes through Daivavarna.
