About These Supplemental Terms
These Astrology Supplemental Vendor Terms apply to Vendors, astrologers, consultants, teachers, organizations, and other Providers who offer astrology consultations, horoscope interpretation, birth-chart analysis, compatibility analysis, electional astrology, muhurta guidance, predictive astrology, traditional Jyotisha Services, or other approved astrology-related Services through Daivavarna.
Daivavarna intends its Astrology category to feature practitioners with credible training, traditional education, lineage-based instruction, substantial formal study, supervised learning, professional experience, or another meaningful basis for providing the Services offered.
This category is not intended for persons whose sole basis for offering professional astrology Services is casual self-study, brief internet research, automated horoscope software, generic AI-generated interpretations, or unsupported self-designation as a professional astrologer.
Astrology inherently involves interpretation, judgment, traditional methodology, uncertainty, and circumstances that cannot be guaranteed. Practitioners therefore must not present predictions as certain outcomes or use fear, fabricated emergencies, curses, threats, or coercive claims to pressure Customers into purchasing additional Services, Products, rituals, or remedies.
These Supplemental Terms supplement the General Vendor Terms and Seller Agreement, Marketplace Policies, Reviews and Community Content Policy, Privacy Policy, Fees and Vendor Payouts Policy, Intellectual Property Policy, and other applicable Daivavarna requirements.
Nothing in these Supplemental Terms authorizes unlawful professional practice, deception, fraud, harassment, financial exploitation, or another activity prohibited by Applicable Law.
1. CATEGORY APPROVAL REQUIRED
A Provider must receive Daivavarna approval before offering professional Astrology Services through the Marketplace.
General Vendor approval does not automatically authorize a Vendor to list Astrology Services.
Daivavarna may review:
education;
training;
lineage;
teachers;
certificates;
professional experience;
sample Service descriptions;
methodology;
professional history;
identity;
or other relevant information before granting approval.
2. PROFESSIONAL BASIS REQUIRED
A Provider must have a substantial and credible basis for presenting themselves as a professional astrologer or Jyotisha practitioner.
Casual self-study alone is insufficient for Daivavarna professional Astrology category approval.
3. INSUFFICIENT BASIS FOR APPROVAL
The following, standing alone, may be insufficient to establish professional eligibility:
reading a small number of astrology books;
watching internet videos;
using automated horoscope websites;
using astrology software without understanding the underlying system;
brief unsupervised online study;
personal interest in astrology;
informal interpretation for friends;
AI-generated horoscope interpretation;
or self-designation as an astrologer without substantial training or experience.
Daivavarna may consider such experience together with more substantial qualifications.
4. TRADITIONAL JYOTISHA TRAINING
Daivavarna may recognize genuine training in traditional Jyotisha or other approved traditional astrology systems.
Training may include:
guru-disciple instruction;
lineage-based education;
traditional institutions;
recognized teachers;
apprenticeship;
scriptural study;
formal coursework;
supervised chart interpretation;
or other meaningful traditional education.
5. FORMAL EDUCATION
Formal education through a credible astrology school, university program, traditional institution, recognized organization, or substantial professional training program may support category approval.
Daivavarna may consider:
program duration;
subjects studied;
teachers;
assessment;
certification;
practical training;
and professional experience.
6. LINEAGE-BASED EDUCATION
A Practitioner relying principally upon lineage-based education may be asked to provide reasonable information concerning:
teacher;
lineage;
duration of study;
subjects studied;
methodology;
practice experience;
and other evidence reasonably relevant to qualification.
Daivavarna may evaluate non-institutional traditional training individually.
7. ONLINE ASTROLOGY EDUCATION
Online astrology education may contribute to a Practitioner’s qualifications where the training is substantial and credible.
Online format alone does not make training invalid.
However, short or superficial online instruction may be insufficient for professional approval.
8. PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
Professional experience may support Practitioner eligibility.
A Provider shall not fabricate:
years of experience;
number of consultations;
institutional positions;
student numbers;
teacher relationships;
client history;
or other professional experience.
9. CONTINUING CATEGORY ELIGIBILITY
Astrology approval is conditional and continuing.
Daivavarna may review category eligibility where:
qualifications are challenged;
false claims are reported;
serious Customer complaints arise;
the Practitioner materially changes the Services offered;
fraudulent conduct is suspected;
or another reasonable Marketplace concern exists.
10. QUALIFICATION DOCUMENTATION
Daivavarna may request documentation such as:
certificates;
letters from teachers;
institutional records;
professional memberships;
course-completion records;
published work;
professional references;
or other reasonable evidence.
11. FALSE CREDENTIALS
Forged, altered, borrowed, fabricated, or materially misleading credentials are prohibited.
Intentional qualification fraud may result in immediate suspension or termination.
12. ACCURATE PROFESSIONAL TITLES
Practitioners must use titles accurately.
Terms such as:
Vedic Astrologer;
Jyotishi;
Jyotisha Acharya;
Astrology Teacher;
Astrology Consultant;
or other professional or traditional titles
must have a reasonable basis.
A Practitioner shall not falsely claim a title granted by an institution, teacher, lineage, professional body, or governmental authority.
13. “Vedic Astrologer” CLAIMS
A Provider describing themselves as a Vedic astrologer should have meaningful education in the relevant traditional system.
Use of the term merely because a chart was generated using sidereal calculations or astrology software may be insufficient.
14. “JYOTISHI” AND TRADITIONAL TITLES
Traditional Sanskrit or lineage titles must not be used deceptively.
Where such a title could reasonably suggest a specific qualification, institutional recognition, or lineage, the Practitioner should have a reasonable basis for using it.
15. NO FALSE INSTITUTIONAL AFFILIATION
Practitioners shall not falsely claim affiliation with:
an astrology school;
university;
temple;
ashram;
spiritual organization;
teacher;
lineage;
professional association;
governmental body;
or Daivavarna.
16. SERVICE DESCRIPTION
Practitioners must clearly describe the Services offered.
Services may include, where approved:
birth-chart analysis;
natal astrology;
Jyotisha consultations;
compatibility analysis;
marriage compatibility;
muhurta selection;
electional astrology;
career-oriented astrology;
general predictive astrology;
transit analysis;
dasha analysis;
traditional remedial guidance;
educational astrology consultations;
or other approved Services.
17. METHODOLOGY DISCLOSURE
Where useful to Customer understanding, Practitioners should identify the principal astrology system used.
Examples may include:
Jyotisha;
Parashara tradition;
Jaimini techniques;
Nadi traditions where legitimately studied;
Tajika;
Western astrology;
or another approved methodology.
A Practitioner shall not falsely claim expertise in a system not meaningfully studied.
18. MULTIPLE ASTROLOGY SYSTEMS
A Practitioner may use more than one astrology system where sufficiently trained.
The Practitioner should not imply mastery of multiple traditions merely because software can generate charts in those systems.
19. SOFTWARE USE
Astrology software may be used as a computational tool.
Software use does not substitute for Practitioner knowledge.
A Practitioner must remain responsible for:
interpretation;
Customer communication;
accuracy of entered data;
and professional judgment.
20. AUTOMATED REPORTS
Computer-generated or automated reports must not be falsely represented as individualized Practitioner analysis where no meaningful professional interpretation occurred.
Where a Service principally consists of an automated report, that fact should be clearly disclosed.
21. AI-ASSISTED ASTROLOGY
Artificial intelligence may be used as an administrative, drafting, calculation, or research aid where lawful.
A Practitioner shall not present generic AI-generated text as original individualized professional interpretation where doing so materially misleads the Customer.
The Practitioner remains responsible for all content delivered under the Practitioner’s name.
22. INDIVIDUAL CONSULTATIONS
An individualized consultation should involve genuine consideration of the Customer’s information and the Service purchased.
A Provider shall not sell the same generic horoscope text to multiple Customers while representing it as individually prepared analysis.
23. REQUIRED CUSTOMER INFORMATION
Depending upon the Service, a Practitioner may request information such as:
date of birth;
time of birth;
place of birth;
name;
relationship information;
relevant dates;
or other information reasonably necessary for the Service.
Practitioners should not collect Personal Information unrelated to the Service without a legitimate purpose.
24. BIRTH TIME ACCURACY
Practitioners should explain where birth-time accuracy materially affects interpretation.
A Practitioner shall not guarantee precise analysis when the necessary source information is uncertain.
25. BIRTH-TIME RECTIFICATION
Birth-time rectification may be offered where the Practitioner has appropriate training.
The Practitioner should explain that rectification involves interpretive judgment and may not establish historical birth time with absolute certainty.
26. CUSTOMER-PROVIDED INFORMATION
Practitioners may rely upon information provided by Customers.
A Practitioner is not responsible for every interpretive discrepancy caused solely by materially incorrect information supplied by the Customer.
27. NO GUARANTEE OF PREDICTIONS
Astrological predictions are not guaranteed outcomes.
Practitioners shall not state that a predicted event will occur with absolute certainty where such certainty cannot reasonably be established.
28. PROHIBITED GUARANTEED OUTCOMES
Practitioners shall not guarantee outcomes such as:
marriage by a specific date;
pregnancy;
immigration approval;
visa approval;
lottery winnings;
wealth;
employment;
promotion;
business success;
court victory;
medical recovery;
death prevention;
or another future event.
29. PROBABILISTIC OR INTERPRETIVE LANGUAGE
Practitioners may discuss tendencies, periods, possibilities, traditional indications, interpretive themes, or other astrology concepts where consistent with their methodology.
Such language should not be deliberately converted into false certainty for commercial purposes.
30. NO FEAR-BASED SELLING
Practitioners shall not use fear to pressure Customers into purchasing additional Services or Products.
31. FABRICATED CURSES
A Practitioner shall not falsely tell a Customer that:
the Customer is cursed;
the Customer’s family is cursed;
a spirit will harm the Customer;
death is imminent;
a child is in danger;
a marriage will certainly fail;
or disaster will occur
unless the Customer urgently purchases additional Services, Products, rituals, or remedies.
32. FABRICATED EMERGENCIES
A Practitioner shall not invent urgent spiritual, astrological, or supernatural emergencies for the purpose of obtaining additional money.
33. COERCIVE REMEDIES
A Practitioner shall not tell a Customer that a costly remedy, gemstone, ritual, puja, donation, Product, or repeated consultation must be purchased from the Practitioner personally in order to avoid catastrophe.
34. TRADITIONAL REMEDIAL GUIDANCE
Traditional remedial concepts may be discussed where the Practitioner is appropriately trained.
Examples may include:
mantra;
charity;
devotional practices;
fasting where safely and appropriately discussed;
temple practices;
traditional observances;
or other lawful remedies.
Such guidance must not involve deceptive guarantees or coercion.
35. REMEDIAL PRODUCTS
A Practitioner may recommend lawful Products such as:
gemstones;
books;
devotional items;
or other approved Products
where appropriate.
Physical Product sales require separate category approval where applicable.
36. FINANCIAL INTEREST IN REMEDIES
Where a Practitioner receives commission or financial benefit from a Product recommended to the Customer, Daivavarna may require disclosure.
A Practitioner shall not create fear solely to generate Product sales.
37. GEMSTONE RECOMMENDATIONS
Astrological gemstone recommendations may be offered as traditional guidance where appropriate.
A Practitioner shall not guarantee that purchasing a gemstone will:
cure disease;
guarantee wealth;
guarantee marriage;
prevent death;
or produce another certain outcome.
38. GEMSTONE SALES
Approval as an astrologer does not automatically authorize the Practitioner to sell gemstones.
Gemstone sales may require separate Product-category approval, authenticity standards, material disclosure, and other Marketplace requirements.
39. PUJA OR RITUAL RECOMMENDATIONS
A Practitioner may recommend lawful devotional or ritual practices where consistent with the Practitioner’s training.
The Practitioner shall not falsely state that a ritual is mandatory to prevent fabricated danger.
40. PAID RITUAL SERVICES
If a Practitioner separately sells or arranges paid ritual Services, those Services must be clearly disclosed and may require separate Daivavarna approval.
The Customer must not be pressured into purchasing them.
41. CHARITABLE DONATIONS
A Practitioner may suggest traditional charitable practices where appropriate.
The Practitioner shall not divert supposed charitable donations to themselves while falsely representing the money as being donated elsewhere.
42. NO DIVERSION OF FUNDS
Practitioners shall not request money supposedly intended for:
temples;
priests;
charitable organizations;
ritual materials;
or religious institutions
and then knowingly retain or redirect the funds contrary to the representation made to the Customer.
43. FINANCIAL GUIDANCE LIMITATIONS
Astrology consultations may discuss traditional indications concerning financial or career periods.
A Practitioner shall not present astrological guidance as regulated investment advice unless separately authorized to provide such advice.
44. INVESTMENT AND TRADING
Practitioners shall not guarantee:
stock-market gains;
cryptocurrency profits;
trading success;
lottery winnings;
or another financial return
based upon astrology.
Customers should not be pressured to make high-risk financial transactions based upon guaranteed astrological claims.
45. LEGAL MATTERS
A Practitioner may discuss traditional astrological perspectives concerning periods associated with legal matters.
Unless separately qualified and authorized, the Practitioner shall not provide legal advice or represent astrological interpretation as a substitute for legal counsel.
46. IMMIGRATION MATTERS
A Practitioner may discuss astrological interpretation concerning travel or relocation.
A Practitioner shall not guarantee visas, immigration approvals, citizenship, or government decisions.
Practitioners who are not licensed immigration professionals shall not provide regulated immigration advice.
47. MEDICAL ASTROLOGY
Medical astrology may present heightened risk.
Daivavarna may restrict or require additional review for Services marketed as medical astrology.
A Practitioner shall not use astrology as a substitute for medical diagnosis or emergency care where the Practitioner is not independently qualified and legally authorized.
48. HEALTH PREDICTIONS
Practitioners shall not make dangerous or absolute predictions concerning:
cancer;
heart attacks;
serious disease;
pregnancy complications;
mental illness;
or another serious health condition
in a manner that could reasonably cause Customers to avoid appropriate medical care.
49. NO MEDICAL DIAGNOSIS
Astrologers who are not legally authorized health professionals shall not diagnose diseases or medical conditions.
50. MEDICAL REFERRAL
Where a Customer raises a genuine medical concern, the Practitioner should not discourage appropriate consultation with a qualified healthcare professional.
51. DEATH PREDICTIONS
Predictions concerning death, severe injury, or catastrophic harm may create significant psychological and ethical risk.
Practitioners shall not use purported death predictions to frighten Customers into purchasing additional Services or remedies.
Daivavarna may restrict or prohibit Listings or practices centered upon definitive predictions of death.
52. MENTAL-HEALTH SAFETY
Practitioners should communicate responsibly with Customers experiencing severe fear, paranoia, delusional beliefs, suicidal thoughts, or acute psychological distress.
Astrology Services are not emergency mental-health Services.
Appropriate professional or emergency support should not be discouraged.
53. CHILDREN AND MINORS
Astrology Services concerning minors may require parental or guardian involvement where appropriate or legally required.
Practitioners shall not frighten parents with fabricated catastrophic predictions about children for commercial gain.
54. PREGNANCY AND FERTILITY
Practitioners may discuss traditional astrology relating to family or children where appropriate.
Practitioners shall not guarantee:
conception;
pregnancy;
sex of a future child;
safe pregnancy;
or fertility outcomes.
Medical fertility advice must be left to appropriately qualified professionals.
55. MARRIAGE AND RELATIONSHIPS
Compatibility and relationship astrology may be offered.
A Practitioner shall not guarantee that:
a marriage will occur;
a marriage must fail;
a spouse is certainly unfaithful;
or another person’s private conduct can be known with absolute certainty.
56. COMPATIBILITY SERVICES
Compatibility Services should accurately describe:
the methodology;
information required;
scope;
and limitations.
The Practitioner should not intentionally create fear or conflict through unsupported certainty.
57. CUSTOMER AUTONOMY
Practitioners should respect Customer autonomy.
Customers remain responsible for personal decisions concerning:
relationships;
career;
finance;
health;
education;
travel;
business;
and other life matters.
58. NO COERCIVE PERSONAL DECISIONS
A Practitioner shall not use threats, fear, dependency, or manipulation to control a Customer’s:
marriage;
divorce;
family relationships;
employment;
financial decisions;
medical care;
or other major life decisions.
59. CAREER ASTROLOGY
Career-related astrology may discuss traditional indications or interpretive periods.
A Practitioner shall not guarantee employment, promotion, salary, or specific occupational success.
60. BUSINESS ASTROLOGY
Business-related astrology may be offered where appropriately described.
Practitioners shall not guarantee commercial profit, investment success, or business survival.
61. MUHURTA AND ELECTIONAL ASTROLOGY
Practitioners may provide traditional muhurta or electional astrology Services where trained.
The Practitioner should clearly explain the nature of the Service and information required.
Selection of a date or time does not guarantee the outcome of the underlying event.
62. BUSINESS LAUNCH DATES
A Practitioner may recommend a traditional date or time for beginning a business, ceremony, journey, marriage, or other activity.
The Practitioner shall not guarantee financial, legal, marital, or other success solely because the recommended time is followed.
63. HORARY OR PRASHNA SERVICES
Horary or Prashna Services may be offered where the Practitioner has appropriate training.
Interpretations remain subject to the general prohibition on guaranteed outcomes and deceptive certainty.
64. NADI-BASED SERVICES
Practitioners claiming expertise in Nadi systems or traditions must have a reasonable factual basis for that claim.
Daivavarna may request additional qualification information.
65. PALMISTRY AND RELATED PRACTICES
Palmistry or other traditional divination-related Services may require separate Marketplace approval.
An Astrology category listing should accurately identify additional methodologies used rather than implying they are identical to Jyotisha.
66. NUMEROLOGY
Numerology Services may require separate approval or may be permitted as an associated Service where Daivavarna determines appropriate.
The Practitioner must accurately identify the methodology offered.
67. TAROT AND OTHER SYSTEMS
Tarot or unrelated divination systems are not automatically included within Astrology approval.
Daivavarna may create or restrict such categories separately.
68. SERVICE FORMAT
Astrology Services may be offered through approved formats such as:
video consultation;
audio consultation;
telephone consultation;
written report;
live chat where supported;
in-person consultation where approved;
or another approved format.
The Listing must accurately describe the format.
69. WRITTEN REPORTS
A written astrology report should reasonably correspond to the scope purchased.
A short generic report shall not be advertised as an extensive individualized consultation where that representation is materially inaccurate.
70. AUDIO OR VIDEO CONSULTATIONS
The Practitioner should provide the approximate duration and format of live consultations.
A Practitioner should not routinely provide substantially less time than advertised without appropriate reason or Customer agreement.
71. RECORDINGS
Where consultation recordings are offered, the Practitioner should clearly disclose whether recording is included.
Recording must comply with Applicable Law and relevant Customer consent requirements.
72. SECRET RECORDING
Practitioners shall not secretly record Customers where consent is required.
73. CUSTOMER RECORDING
Practitioners may establish reasonable rules concerning Customer recording of consultations.
Such rules remain subject to Applicable Law.
74. TIME ZONES
Practitioners offering remote Services should accurately coordinate appointment times across time zones.
Repeated scheduling errors may result in Marketplace review.
75. CONSULTATION DURATION
The represented Service duration should reasonably correspond to the Service actually provided.
Materially misleading duration claims are prohibited.
76. FOLLOW-UP SERVICES
Where follow-up is included, the Listing should reasonably describe:
duration;
method;
number of follow-ups;
or other relevant limits.
77. UNLIMITED ACCESS CLAIMS
A Practitioner shall not advertise unlimited consultation access where material undisclosed restrictions make the claim misleading.
78. SERVICE PACKAGES
Multi-session packages should clearly disclose:
number of consultations;
Service duration;
included reports;
expiration if any;
price;
and cancellation terms.
79. SUBSCRIPTIONS
Where Daivavarna permits astrology memberships or recurring subscriptions, the Practitioner must accurately disclose:
billing frequency;
included Services;
renewal;
cancellation;
and material limitations.
80. PRICING
Practitioners must clearly state Service pricing.
Mandatory fees shall not be hidden after the Customer has committed to purchase.
81. ADDITIONAL FEES
A Practitioner must disclose material additional charges such as:
extended consultation fees;
written report fees;
additional-chart fees;
urgent-booking fees;
or similar charges
before the Customer becomes obligated to pay them where reasonably practicable.
82. NO FEAR-BASED UPSELLING
A Practitioner shall not use frightening predictions to sell:
additional consultations;
emergency consultations;
rituals;
gemstones;
Products;
or other paid Services.
83. DIRECT-PAYMENT SERVICES
Where Daivavarna permits the Customer to pay the Practitioner directly, the Practitioner remains responsible for:
collection;
payment security;
receipts where required;
taxes;
refunds;
and other external payment obligations.
Daivavarna generally cannot directly reverse a payment made outside its system.
84. DAIVAVARNA-ASSISTED PAYMENTS
Where Daivavarna processes payment for an Astrology Service, the transaction is governed by the Fees and Vendor Payouts Policy.
Daivavarna processing does not make the Practitioner an employee, partner, or agent of Daivavarna.
85. CUSTOMER CANCELLATION
Customer cancellation and rescheduling rules must be disclosed and consistent with the Returns, Refunds and Cancellation Policy and Applicable Law.
86. PRACTITIONER CANCELLATION
Where the Practitioner cancels a paid Daivavarna-Processed consultation and no reasonable alternative accepted by the Customer is provided, the Customer shall ordinarily be eligible for an appropriate refund.
87. NO-SHOW POLICIES
Practitioners may establish reasonable Customer no-show policies where clearly disclosed.
Such policies must be lawful and reasonably applied.
88. PRACTITIONER NO-SHOW
A Practitioner who fails to attend an appointment without providing the purchased Service or an agreed rescheduling may be required to provide a refund.
89. REFUND FOR PREDICTION OUTCOME
A Customer is not automatically entitled to a refund solely because a prediction did not occur.
Astrological predictions involve interpretation and uncertainty.
90. REFUND FOR MATERIAL NONPERFORMANCE
A refund or other remedy may nevertheless be appropriate where the Practitioner:
did not provide the Service;
materially misrepresented qualifications;
used fraudulent conduct;
provided an automated generic report in place of the individualized Service purchased;
cancelled without providing an accepted replacement;
or otherwise materially failed to provide the purchased Service.
91. PERSONAL INFORMATION
Astrology Services may require sensitive Personal Information.
Practitioners must use Customer information only for legitimate Service and lawful business purposes.
92. BIRTH DATA
Birth date, birth time, birth location, family details, relationship information, and similar information supplied for astrology Services should be treated responsibly.
A Practitioner shall not publicly disclose such information without appropriate authorization.
93. CONFIDENTIALITY
Practitioners should maintain reasonable confidentiality concerning information learned during consultations.
94. CUSTOMER STORIES
A Practitioner shall not publish identifiable Customer charts, stories, predictions, personal events, or consultation information for:
marketing;
teaching;
social media;
books;
or other public use
without appropriate authorization.
95. ANONYMIZED CASE STUDIES
Where lawful, genuinely anonymized astrology examples may be used for education.
Practitioners remain responsible for ensuring that the Customer cannot reasonably be identified where anonymity is represented.
96. CHART IMAGES
Birth charts or astrology charts containing identifiable Customer information should be protected appropriately.
97. CUSTOMER DATA SALES
Practitioners shall not sell Customer birth information, contact information, or consultation information to data brokers, marketers, or unrelated third parties.
98. MARKETING COMMUNICATIONS
Customer information obtained for a consultation shall not automatically be used for unrelated mass marketing contrary to Applicable Law or Daivavarna policy.
99. PROFESSIONAL CONDUCT
Astrologers are expected to treat Customers professionally.
Serious harassment, intimidation, threats, humiliation, exploitation, or abuse may result in Marketplace enforcement.
100. SEXUAL HARASSMENT AND EXPLOITATION
Practitioners shall not use astrology consultations to engage in:
sexual harassment;
unwanted sexual communication;
sexual coercion;
requests for sexual acts;
or exploitation of Customer vulnerability.
101. FINANCIAL EXPLOITATION
Practitioners shall not exploit Customer fear, grief, illness, relationship vulnerability, or financial distress to extract unreasonable repeated payments.
102. DEPENDENCY
Practitioners should not intentionally foster unhealthy dependency by telling Customers that they are incapable of making ordinary personal decisions without repeated paid astrology consultation.
103. CUSTOMER BOUNDARIES
Practitioners should maintain reasonable professional boundaries.
Access to a Customer through Daivavarna shall not be used for stalking, harassment, unrelated personal pursuit, or exploitation.
104. DISCRIMINATION
Practitioners must comply with Applicable Law concerning unlawful discrimination in providing Services.
Traditional interpretive concepts must not be used as a pretext for unlawful harassment or exclusion.
105. RELIGIOUS CONDUCT
Daivavarna may permit traditional Hindu, Vedic, Jyotisha, devotional, or other approved cultural frameworks within the Astrology category.
Practitioners must accurately describe their approach and should not falsely claim universal religious authority.
106. NO FORCED RELIGIOUS PARTICIPATION
Customers should not be deceived into believing that they must adopt a particular religious identity as a condition of receiving an ordinary Astrology Service unless the religious nature of the Service was clearly disclosed beforehand and is intrinsic to that Service.
107. TRADITIONAL REMEDIES AND FAITH
Practitioners may explain that certain remedies arise from traditional or devotional frameworks.
Such descriptions should not be converted into fabricated factual guarantees.
108. THIRD-PARTY PRIESTS OR PROVIDERS
Where a Practitioner refers a Customer to a priest, temple, ritual Provider, gemstone seller, or another third party, any material financial relationship may need to be disclosed.
The Practitioner shall not falsely claim that the third party is approved by Daivavarna.
109. REFERRAL FEES
Paid referral arrangements must comply with Applicable Law.
Practitioners shall not conceal material referral payments where doing so would make their recommendation deceptive.
110. CUSTOMER CHOICE OF REMEDY PROVIDER
Where a Practitioner recommends a lawful ritual, Product, or other remedy, the Customer should ordinarily remain free to obtain it from another appropriate source unless there is a legitimate reason otherwise.
111. NO MANDATORY PURCHASE FROM PRACTITIONER
A Practitioner shall not falsely state that an astrological remedy will work only if purchased from the Practitioner personally.
112. PRODUCT SALES
Astrology category approval does not automatically authorize Product sales.
Products such as:
gemstones;
yantras;
books;
ritual Products;
jewelry;
or devotional Products
may require separate category approval.
113. GEMSTONE AUTHENTICITY
Where a Practitioner separately sells gemstones through an approved Product category, material identity and authenticity claims must comply with applicable Product requirements.
A synthetic, treated, simulated, plated, or lower-grade Product shall not be misrepresented as a different natural gemstone.
114. YANTRAS AND SACRED PRODUCTS
Yantras or other sacred Products may also be governed by Deity Worship or Arts & Crafts Supplemental Terms.
Astrology approval does not exempt such Products from material, sacred-provenance, or Product-safety requirements.
115. ASTROLOGY BOOKS
Books written or sold by Astrology Practitioners must comply with Daivavarna Books and Intellectual Property requirements where applicable.
116. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
Practitioners must comply with the Intellectual Property Policy.
A Practitioner shall not unlawfully copy:
another astrologer’s reports;
books;
course materials;
charts;
translations;
software;
photographs;
branding;
or written interpretations.
117. SOFTWARE LICENSES
Astrology software used commercially must be lawfully licensed where required.
A Practitioner shall not distribute pirated astrology software through Daivavarna.
118. CHART COPYRIGHT AND REPORT CONTENT
Practitioners remain responsible for ensuring that written reports or chart graphics distributed to Customers do not unlawfully reproduce third-party protected material.
119. TEACHING ASTROLOGY
A Practitioner who offers formal astrology Classes may require separate approval under the Classes Supplemental Vendor Terms.
Professional consultation approval does not automatically authorize teaching Services.
120. CLASSES VERSUS CONSULTATIONS
A general educational astrology course ordinarily belongs in Classes.
An individualized chart reading ordinarily belongs in Astrology Services.
A Provider offering both may need approval for both categories.
121. CUSTOMER REVIEWS
Customers may review Astrology Services under the Reviews and Community Content Policy.
A negative review does not automatically violate Marketplace rules merely because a prediction was unfavorable or the Practitioner disagrees.
122. REVIEW MANIPULATION
Practitioners shall not:
purchase reviews;
create fake Customer accounts;
review themselves;
offer refunds solely in exchange for positive reviews;
or threaten Customers regarding reviews.
123. TESTIMONIALS
Practitioners may use genuine Customer testimonials where lawful and appropriately authorized.
Testimonials shall not be fabricated or materially altered.
124. PREDICTION TESTIMONIALS
A testimonial reporting that a prediction appeared accurate for one Customer shall not be used deceptively to guarantee identical predictive accuracy for all Customers.
125. SUCCESS-RATE CLAIMS
Claims such as:
“99% accurate”;
“100% prediction accuracy”;
“never wrong”;
or similar numerical claims
must not be used without an appropriate and supportable factual basis.
Daivavarna may prohibit such claims where they are inherently misleading.
126. “GUARANTEED ACCURACY”
A Practitioner shall not market astrology Services as guaranteed 100% accurate.
127. ADVERTISING
Astrology advertising must be truthful and not materially misleading.
Claims concerning:
qualifications;
experience;
lineage;
Customer numbers;
accuracy;
awards;
institutional affiliation;
or professional recognition
must have a reasonable basis.
128. AWARDS AND RECOGNITION
A Practitioner shall not fabricate awards, titles, media appearances, academic recognition, or professional honors.
129. PUBLIC FIGURE CLIENT CLAIMS
A Practitioner shall not falsely claim to have advised celebrities, politicians, spiritual leaders, business leaders, or other notable persons.
Confidentiality obligations may also restrict truthful disclosure of actual Clients.
130. GOVERNMENT APPROVAL
A Practitioner shall not falsely state that astrology Services are government-certified, medically approved, or officially endorsed where no such approval exists.
131. DAIVAVARNA APPROVAL
A Practitioner may accurately state that they are approved to offer Astrology Services on Daivavarna where that approval is current.
The Practitioner shall not state that Daivavarna guarantees the accuracy of predictions or endorses every interpretation.
132. BUSINESS LICENSES
Practitioners remain responsible for any business registrations, professional permits, tax registrations, or other authorizations required for their operations.
133. TAXES
Practitioners are responsible for applicable taxes arising from their Services except where Daivavarna is legally required to collect, remit, or withhold particular amounts.
134. PROFESSIONAL INSURANCE
Daivavarna may require or recommend professional or general-liability insurance depending upon Service type, jurisdiction, or Marketplace operations.
Where insurance is claimed, the claim must be truthful.
135. INTERNATIONAL SERVICES
Astrology Services may be provided internationally where lawful and supported.
The Practitioner remains responsible for laws applicable to the Practitioner’s location and, where relevant, the Customer’s location.
136. LOCAL REGULATION
Astrology, fortune-telling, spiritual consultation, or related commercial practices may be regulated differently in different jurisdictions.
The Practitioner must comply with applicable local requirements.
137. LOCAL IN-PERSON SERVICES
Practitioners offering in-person Services must maintain a reasonably safe and lawful location.
Applicable zoning, business, occupancy, tax, or local rules remain the Practitioner’s responsibility.
138. HOME-BASED CONSULTATIONS
Home-based consultations may be permitted where lawful and approved.
Practitioners remain responsible for privacy, safety, insurance, and local business requirements.
139. CUSTOMER IDENTITY
Practitioners should not require unnecessary identity documents merely to conduct ordinary astrology Services.
Daivavarna verification requirements should not be confused with Practitioner requests for Customer documents.
140. MINIMIZATION OF PERSONAL DATA
Practitioners should collect only Personal Information reasonably necessary for the Service and lawful business obligations.
141. PAYMENT DATA
Practitioners receiving Direct Payments must use lawful and appropriately secure payment methods.
Practitioners should not request complete payment-card information through ordinary Marketplace messaging.
142. OFF-PLATFORM COMMUNICATION
Where phone, video, email, or another external communication method is needed to deliver an approved Service, the Practitioner remains bound by Marketplace conduct, privacy, fee, and anti-circumvention requirements.
143. FEE CIRCUMVENTION
Practitioners shall not manipulate listings or transactions solely to evade legitimately applicable Daivavarna fees.
Proper use of an expressly permitted Direct-Payment Service model is not fee circumvention.
144. SHAM CONSULTATIONS
Fake Astrology transactions created to:
transfer unrelated funds;
manufacture reviews;
create false professional history;
launder money;
or manipulate Marketplace metrics
are prohibited.
145. SUBSTITUTE PRACTITIONERS
A Practitioner shall not secretly assign a Customer’s consultation to another person where the Customer booked the named Practitioner.
Where a business uses multiple astrologers, the Listing should disclose that structure.
Each Practitioner may require separate approval.
146. ASTROLOGY ORGANIZATIONS
Astrology schools, organizations, or consultation practices may participate where approved.
Approval of the organization does not automatically approve every astrologer associated with it.
147. ACCOUNT SHARING
An approved Astrology account shall not be shared with an unapproved Practitioner for the purpose of delivering Services under another person’s identity.
148. APPOINTMENT AVAILABILITY
Practitioners should maintain reasonably accurate availability.
Repeated acceptance of appointments the Practitioner cannot fulfill may result in Marketplace review.
149. CUSTOMER COMMUNICATION
Practitioners should reasonably respond to legitimate questions concerning:
booking;
Service scope;
required birth information;
appointment timing;
reports;
and follow-up.
Practitioners are not obligated to provide unlimited unpaid analysis through Marketplace messages.
150. DISPUTE COOPERATION
Practitioners must reasonably cooperate with Daivavarna investigations concerning:
nonperformance;
qualification fraud;
harassment;
payment disputes;
privacy violations;
fear-based selling;
or other serious Marketplace concerns.
151. RECORDS
Practitioners should maintain reasonable records concerning:
bookings;
Services delivered;
payments where relevant;
reports delivered;
and other matters required by Applicable Law or necessary for legitimate dispute resolution.
152. FALSE RECORDS
A Practitioner shall not fabricate consultation records or alter transaction history to mislead Daivavarna during an investigation.
153. CUSTOMER COMPLAINTS
Daivavarna may investigate complaints involving:
false qualifications;
guaranteed predictions;
fear-based selling;
fabricated curses;
nonperformance;
sexual harassment;
privacy violations;
financial exploitation;
fraudulent remedies;
or other serious misconduct.
154. TEMPORARY SUSPENSION
Daivavarna may temporarily suspend Astrology Services while investigating a credible serious complaint.
Temporary suspension does not necessarily constitute a final determination.
155. MARKETPLACE ENFORCEMENT
Failure to comply with these Supplemental Terms may result in:
Listing correction;
removal of claims;
qualification reverification;
Service Listing suspension;
loss of Astrology category approval;
payment holds where appropriate;
Customer refunds;
Vendor suspension;
or termination.
156. IMMEDIATE ACTION
Daivavarna may take immediate action where credible evidence indicates:
forged qualifications;
extortion;
fear-based fraud;
fabricated curses;
sexual misconduct;
serious financial exploitation;
threats;
payment fraud;
or other substantial misconduct.
157. REPEATED VIOLATIONS
Repeated smaller violations may result in stronger Marketplace action.
Practitioners are expected to correct identified problems and maintain continuing compliance.
158. CUSTOMER REFUNDS
For Daivavarna-Processed Transactions, Daivavarna may issue an appropriate refund where available evidence supports material nonperformance, Practitioner cancellation, fraud, or another qualifying basis under Marketplace Policies.
159. DIRECT-PAYMENT REFUNDS
Where the Customer paid the Practitioner directly, the Practitioner remains responsible for any valid refund.
Daivavarna generally cannot retrieve money transferred outside Daivavarna’s payment system.
Daivavarna may nevertheless take Marketplace enforcement action.
160. CHARGEBACKS
Daivavarna-Processed payment disputes are governed by the Fees and Vendor Payouts Policy.
Practitioners must reasonably cooperate with legitimate payment disputes.
161. NO DAIVAVARNA GUARANTEE
Daivavarna’s approval of an Astrologer means only that the Practitioner has been permitted to participate in the Astrology category under Daivavarna’s then-current standards.
Approval does not constitute:
a guarantee of prediction accuracy;
governmental certification;
scientific validation;
medical approval;
or endorsement of every interpretation.
162. CUSTOMER RESPONSIBILITY
Customers remain responsible for personal decisions made after an astrology consultation.
Astrology Services should not be treated as guaranteed substitutes for qualified:
medical;
legal;
financial;
mental-health;
immigration;
or other regulated professional advice.
163. CHANGES TO THESE SUPPLEMENTAL TERMS
Daivavarna may update these Astrology Supplemental Vendor Terms as Marketplace standards, professional practices, Service functionality, legal requirements, safety considerations, or operational experience evolves.
Material changes may require Practitioner reacceptance.
164. CATEGORY TERMS VERSIONING
Daivavarna may maintain an electronic record identifying:
Practitioner identity;
category;
Category Terms Version;
date and time of acceptance;
and other reasonable acceptance information.
Acceptance of Version 1.0 does not automatically constitute acceptance of a later materially revised version.
165. REACCEPTANCE AFTER MATERIAL CHANGES
Where these Supplemental Terms are materially revised, Daivavarna may require the Practitioner to review and accept the updated version before creating, editing, publishing, booking, or continuing to offer Astrology Services.
166. RELATIONSHIP TO OTHER CATEGORY TERMS
Some Astrology Providers may participate in additional categories.
For example:
Astrology Teachers may also require Classes approval;
gemstone sellers may require Product-category approval;
ritual or devotional Product sellers may require Deity Worship approval;
authors may require Books category compliance;
and Event organizers may require Events approval.
Approval in Astrology does not automatically grant approval in another category.
167. RELATIONSHIP TO GENERAL VENDOR TERMS
These Supplemental Terms supplement rather than replace the General Vendor Terms and Seller Agreement.
The Practitioner must comply with both.
Where these Supplemental Terms establish a more specific Astrology requirement, the more specific requirement ordinarily governs that category-specific issue unless Applicable Law or another expressly controlling Marketplace rule provides otherwise.

Questions concerning Practitioner qualifications, astrology methodology, Service eligibility, claims, or category requirements should be submitted before offering Services where the Practitioner is uncertain.

169. ASTROLOGY PRACTITIONER CATEGORY ACKNOWLEDGMENT
By accepting these Astrology Supplemental Vendor Terms, the Practitioner confirms that the Practitioner has reviewed and understands the qualification, professional-conduct, prediction, Customer-protection, privacy, payment, and Marketplace requirements applicable to Astrology Services offered through Daivavarna.
The Practitioner represents that all material statements concerning the Practitioner’s education, teachers, lineage, qualifications, professional experience, institutional affiliations, methodology, and other credentials are materially accurate.
The Practitioner acknowledges that casual self-study, generic internet research, automated horoscope generation, astrology software, or AI-generated interpretation alone does not satisfy Daivavarna’s professional Astrology qualification standard.
The Practitioner agrees not to guarantee future events or represent astrology predictions as certain outcomes.
The Practitioner specifically agrees not to use fabricated curses, spiritual threats, predictions of catastrophe, fear of death, illness, marriage failure, harm to children, financial disaster, or other deceptive fear-based claims to pressure Customers into purchasing additional consultations, gemstones, rituals, Products, donations, or other Services.
The Practitioner acknowledges that traditional remedial guidance may be discussed where appropriate, but Customers must not be coerced into purchasing a remedy from the Practitioner or an affiliated Provider.
The Practitioner agrees to protect Customer birth information, consultation information, relationship information, and other Personal Information and not to publicly disclose or commercially misuse such information.
The Practitioner understands that Daivavarna approval does not guarantee prediction accuracy, scientifically validate astrology, or authorize the Practitioner to provide regulated medical, legal, financial, immigration, mental-health, or other professional Services unless independently qualified and legally authorized.
The Practitioner acknowledges that approval to offer Astrology consultations does not automatically authorize Classes, gemstone sales, devotional Product sales, ritual Services, Events, Books, or other Marketplace activities for which separate approval may be required.
The Practitioner agrees to comply with these Supplemental Terms, the General Vendor Terms and Seller Agreement, Marketplace Policies, Privacy requirements, and Applicable Law for so long as the Practitioner offers Astrology Services through Daivavarna.
